I work at a hospital there are so many items that cost like 15k that do most simplest tasks. For example this pill counter which uses computer vision of some sort to count pills costs literally 2k to 10k.

Can any anons tell me how they're getting away with such outsourcing price gouging

It includes 5-10 years warranty plus guaranteed technicians on call and spare parts. Plus the manufacturer has to take liability insurance in case they get sued. Consumer grade appliances don't need to do this and most of the time, people's lives are not depending on it.

There's sure a lot of commies in this thread...
There's a reason why American healthcare is world class in quality and speed of service that
Canadians and Eurocucks can only dream of.
Americans only need to pay for healthcare when needed while "Free Healthcare" countries pay out the ass with their taxes.

That's 150,000% markup

Where do you think that money is going?

It's not going to doctors.
It's not going to nurses.
It's not going to scientists developing drugs.

It's going to shareholders.

I personally recommend upscaling the image (vae decode > upscale image > vae encode) over upscaling the latent directly. I'm also showing upscaling with a model here, which you can see doesn't have as significant of an impact, but does help keep the image sharper.

Diesel generator, biodiesel production, water purification, simple reliable firearms with plenty of ammo, various means of food production, secure enough shelter, most importantly trustworthy allies but since you have to ask this, you will never get those. I was having a conversation with someone today about BIOS. We decided that we would share our bios files with each other, but the problem came about over a grammatical issue. Instead of saying, "BIOS FILES," I wanted to just use one word - the plural word for BIOS.
If 'BIOS' is a noun - a thing - then what would be the grammatical plural of the word, "BIOS?"

If Firefox were to ever ditch the manifest v2 adblockers (ie, uBlock Origin, the real one), then its forks would need to do what Brave is currently doing and protect the mv2 code even though Chromium has gotten rid of it. That's a huge job that I don't think many (if any of them) are capable of doing, but I guess we will see.
If Mozilla decides to kill ad blockers then ad blocking becomes much harder to come by.

For me, it's Fedora. I don't know why anyone would recommend Mint these days. Fedora has sensible default settings, good built-in security, newer packages, good support, and you can easily replicate the Windows workflow with KDE. And if you want a macOS-like experience, there's GNOME.

Best distribution for new users? Yes, I think so.
