I've been using this SD card for a month. No problems whatsoever. 2TB for $3.

How is this possible?
Is the storage problem finally solved?
How advanced is China in technology?

no idea how this scam is literally everywhere be it amazon, ebay, wallmart, temu, aliexpress etc and it never gets taken down.

next time you buy memory cards from china, just like i do, please see the overall market specs for money index and realize that if something is too cheap or too expensive for the specs, it is a scam.

for example pic related - BGN5.73 is like 3 dollars, so 64 gb either costs 3 dollars, or 4.23 or 5.19 . the price range for a 64 gb card is between 3 to 6 dollars. if a card is 2 tb for 3 dollars. there is a high chance it is a scam.

of course the same logic goes for everything - 5090 32 gb of VRAM for 200 dollars? lol, yea right. 10 tb ssd for 10 dollars? lol. "true gold" necklace for 5 dollars....
>>
>>107615806
Now try to read/play/run/use that data

>>107616085
>no idea how this scam is literally everywhere and it never gets taken down.
>perhaps I should get into this stuff to make some money too
Because 90+% of buyers are like OP and either never use even 10% of max storage capacity, or they just use it to backup data without ever verifying the data integrity - by the time they need to retrieve it it's already well past all warranties, and they probably just shrug off the data being corrupted being caused by the device being too old.
Tbh it's probably one of the safest electronic parts related scams
>>
>>107616085
>no idea how this scam is literally everywhere be it amazon, ebay, wallmart
They are constantly getting taken down and replaced with new ones.

What you linked said that it has scripts installing stuff via "curl | sh". That's bad or doesn't age well. That should only be used on the most visible, manually ran, and latest+maintained install instructions. With host-based addressing, someone could stop working on stuff (abandoned software), a malicious entity takes over example.com/install, then bam anyone using "curl $url | sh" gets infected with nasty malware or becomes part of a botnet. Pwning Linux computers is that easy in that case: definitely has targeted viruses/malware.

They are only as easily dealt with as all ties to them can be cut, and those ties are in the hands of various individual contributors. That's what makes it complex and risky despite there not being a lot of stuff to divide in the divorce proceedings.

AI will never be smarter than it's developers because how do you know if it's solving the problem correctly if the problem is too hard for you to solve?
This is a problem with simulations in general in fact.
And to see really stupid people go all in on AI means it's only going to get stupider, even with smart human slaves programming it. The bottleneck is at the administrative level.
>>
>>107617488
is not that just because they gave the models access to executing code/python scripts so they dont have to do everything in token space
if a single brick the model lays down on the pipeline towards solving a problem is wrong then errors start cascading
>>
>>107610757
Some people just don't know they're making horrible decisions with AI.

I'll say it once and I'll say it again. The future is cybernetics, not AI.
Although AI could technically overcome it's "artificial barrier" potentially. I could see nanomachine hives doing that.
>>

>if a single brick the model lays down on the pipeline towards solving a problem is wrong then errors start cascading
I don't know why people say this now when you see models correcting themselves all the time in reasoning traces

FFS, I'm always baffled by exams and even OTC medicine prices in the US
In my country a full torso CT scan costs about $250 ~ $300. A chest x-ray, about 70 bucks. These are average private clinic prices for people who don't have any health insurance whatsoever and pay out of their own pocket
But hey, at least you pay half of our average prices for computer parts and video game consoles. God bless Amerigga :-DDD

Six, maybe seven.

So what's the deal with everyone hating on Rust?
The usual points people bring up are:
>wokism
>tranny language
>made by jews
>it's a cult

Disregarding the aforementioned points, can you tell me actual reasons for why a safe(r) programming language like Rust shouldn't be adopted more widely?
90 replies and 11 images omitted. Click here to view.
>>
>>107603880

In theory they could have heap allocated their flags buuuuut there’s a penalty for that in perf
>>
Because if anyone mentions doing something in any other language a bunch of Rust programmers will show up and say "b-b-but it's not memory safe" and call every language "memory unsafe".

Because systems programming requires being able to manipulate bits and bytes freely without the borrow checker complaining like one of the autistic fags that built it.

Assuming you don't want to work at a low level and for some reason you still decide to use Rust, then it works okay until you need to do async work. Then you discover that lifetimes plus parallelism is a world of pain.

Sorry but no thanks. The best use case for Rust is rewriting small command line utils which seems to be what it is most used for.

Also troons.

Also what the fuck is this captcha.
>>
>>107617994

> lifetimes plus parallelism is a world of pain
unironically a win for rust
concurrency is the bane of system problems and the more you’re able to slow programmers down to think that they should mutex or relinquish ownership, the better
