>>106627465Did it gen all of it in one go or multiple turns?
>>106627465First I created a "Character outline" with information on the stories characters. At first I used ai but I found it more accurate to add information myself. The story basically was created on accident I was seeing "how far" it would go. Then I decided that everything it is generated up till now (ten or so prompts) could actually work together and form a schizo story. So I tell it to generate a plot outline based off the current conversation, then I made certain modifications to the outline to be more consistent and in-tune with my wishes. Finally I used the chapter plot outlines to acutally generate the chapters which it spat out 1200-1800 words using deepseek reason.

This program is spyware because it collects huge amounts of user information, including but not limited to your Home Address, Telephone Number, Credit Card Number, and Internet Search History. Steam also profiles your hardware, communications through Steam's social networking features, and contains a mandatory self-updater.
>>106622562It would have been better if it was outright webapp, because you would be able to use it with native webviews which use much less resources.
>>106622497Run it in a VM or use SteamCMD, then crack the games so you can play them without Steam.

Your kernel image is in plaintext on your disk openly accessible and modifiable by anyone. Any rando can put a USB in your computer and overwrite your vmlinuz with vmlinuz-pozzed and you'd be none the wiser, if you're not using Secure Boot.
>>106629227Yes but if they use it to drag and drop the malware, Secure Boot won't subsequently boot it.
>>106629228Explain this hardening? What does it do or how is it done? And if other hardening methods are required then secureboot already failed at its purported job.
>>106629246Tamper-evident screws for laptops for example. It's not required, it depends on your mobo whether this is necessary for Secure Boot to do its job. Secure Boot does its job in that it prevents malware from loading on your computer, but it doesn't stop physical keyloggers for example.
>>106628083I'm too lazy to find it, but I remember reading about a trivial exploit to bypass secure boot and unlock encrypted drive. There's not really a way to authenticate the whole boot process that has mainstream support right now. Seems like the Linux world is moving towards UKI with systemd boot to address this though. >>106628138Lol
>>106628083I am, but secure boot is actually flawed design. For one, it should not come with any keys by default, everyone should sign their own bootloader. How many people do you think clear the keys?

>>106619901Companies layoff senior software devs to bring in immigrants at the 1 and 2 levels to put downward pressure on wages. It creates stagnation at the entry levels and prevents the top levels from staying around.Rounds of layoffs is their current method of choice, which is why you get simultaneous layoffs of natives and hiring immigrants at the same time.
>>106619845Canada in particular must be brutal. A deluge of scabs from abroad, depressed wages, a bad job market, apparently massive housing shortages. It'll probably all work out but nows not the time to be picky. But in time all things pass.
So is AI a bubble or not?
>>106625473if you're not joogle
>>106625473100% a bubble. We have a shitload of people putting a shitload of money into ai. A lot of those people and a lot of that money is gonna go poof like a fart in the wind while a select few will run away with the riches.
>>106625517Satan is the good guy btw
>>106625473Both, it's long term tech probably here to stay but right now it's in a massive bubble because 99% of investors don't understand it and just listen to sales pitches from other people who also don't understand it.
>>106625473Yes, just like the internet was.It will pop, and then you will need to actually do something useful with it to gain money (for the most part).
Do you think hackers will wreak havoc on the world after Microjeet stops releasing security updates for Windows 10 next month?
>>106629466Where's the Windows 7 army?
It's inevitable, but certainly not for a good while. Microsoft likes to talk big, but you must remember they kept patching Windows 7 until 2023.
