here is something i wrote trying to sound like AI. it's not quite right, and i am positive that chat GPT would have NO IDEA what it means for a post like this to "not sound quite right like chat gpt." e.g. chat gpt couldn't output something that doesn't sound quite right. human ingenuity wins again

>>107564021In Belgium's case it was corruption from the Greens too: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_power_in_Belgium#Phase-out"As Minister of Energy Van der Straeten (Green party) was successfully implementing the nuclear phaseout and replacing it by a fleet of new fossil gas power plants, her predecessor Marie-Christine Marghem (MR) criticized the decision as harmful for the climate and called for extension of the low-carbon nuclear power plants lifetime.[45] In 2021 media uncovered a potential conflict of interest, pointing out that Tinne Van der Straeten worked for law firm Blixt between 2012-2019, which represented interests of fossil gas companies including Gazprom.[46]"

Youtube 15 years ago was so fun to browse. You could look up "nigger fight" in the search bar, and get a million results. You would get reccomended videos about race realism and holocaust denial or 9/11 conspiracies. You could tell anyone to kill themselves in the comments. There would be KKK or school shooting meme compilations with a shit ton of views. Youtubers used to make response to videos to each other where they freely threw around ad hominem attacks. You could even sometimes find softcore porn or propaganda content uploaded by some islamic terrorist group from a third world country. There used to be viral call of duty trolling videos where adults bullied little kids in video games. Will another generation ever experience internet like this again?
>>107559688It wasn't, we were just younger and enjoyed exploring, now we are old, worthless chuds.
>>107562058in August-Sept 2008 I posted dozens of videos on Youtube of Moon Man, with the text to speech) TTS voice saying extreme vulgarities about killing minorities and I was sharing it directly with the person who created Moon Man >ytmnd.com/users/farkleOne video had AT&T Mike talking about putting "them" in a porta potta, tiping it over and boiling them in a pot of feces like the Talmud said. Most of it was TTS voice crap of Moon Man describing his missions of torture, rape, murder and pillage and wiping Africa off the face of the earth.I probably got reported to HLS, as this was the Bush Era. I was a stupid kid back then. Yeah I know they allowed the Drew Pickles TTS, but they didn't allow Moon Man.
>>107562198I used to post racist memes on instagram as a kid. They had rules against racism, but enforcement was so lax, very little ever got removed. Someone had to firstly report you, and then it took them days to look at it. The best part was that they would simply remove your post and send you message. You would never get banned for racism on instagram. I used to post so many hitler edits, racist memes, 9/11 memes, earrape shock content. It was so much fun
>>107562435yeah and now people get demoted for terms like "kill, rape, pedo" replaced with corporate friendly wwords - unalive, grape, pdffile" They don't get banned but account will have less views, harder discoverability, and no advertiser moneys.I swear to God knowing how the english language words the word unalive may become a recognized dictionary term in 2050. That's literally how languages evolve, even Grape can mean more then a fruit. The only thing big tech is doing is expanding tomorrow's dictionary
>>107559688>Will another generation ever experience internet like this again?I hope not. Go live in the real world instead of nostalgiafagging over a digital one.

explain to me like im retarded (i am) why AI isnt trained on a more rudimentary level, like on logic, symbolism, pattern recognition etc instead of just being a chat bot that prints out words that dont make sense and arent true a large fraction of the time
>>107564044you're talking about shit that a 2 year old can do, that's not gonna wow anybody, and even though a 2 year can play and understand flappy bird, they can't write it in pygame, so clearly this was the more profitable* option
>>107564325>If you train on "symbolism" or "pattern recognition" then, well, what does that actually look like in practice?a good foundation for then training it on textas it is now its just making AI look retarded after an initial novelty fueled interest
>>107564355so then why does every single LLM AI act like a retarded infant that talks in circles? i mean of course that new free chatgpt model was downgraded to complete trash and is beyond retarded but even way better services fail to not make huge obvious mistakes all the time and fail to logically follow through with things very well
>>107564305i mean....
>>107564359Sorry, I might not have made myself clear. I didn't mean "what would the end result look like?", I meant "how would you train it?".Like, what would the dataset for "pattern recognition" look like? Mensa-style IQ puzzles like raven's progressive matrices? How much of that stuff is there, how would you make more? Is this supervised or unsupervised learning?
