it's risky, people can reverse engineer their methods, we have the result after all, they shouldn't overstay their welcome, they should sell before it's too late

I don't think there have been serious attempts to make binary weight quantization end-to-end (MLP, attention, embeddings/output layers) actually viable yet; not even BitNet went that far (it only quantized in low precision the MLP), and even their authors preferred to use ternary weights at the very least.

It's not live (yet) there. Apparently if you dig in Google AI studio js code there are references to https://www.kaggle.com/models/google/gemma-4 but it's not working.

>>Yes, let me make up some completely irrelevant nonsense about how X works.
How do you tard-wrangle these things? Do they only work on the most basic shit that it has 500GB of reddit retards asking the same questions about? Do they pretend to be retarded until you dig out the shekels?
And why the fuck can they never just admit to not knowing shit rather than bullshitting obvious nonsense?

>How do you tard-wrangle these things?
You pay for it instead of using the free model that only works for simple things.
>>
>>108496122
how the fuck would that works? every token has 100% proba by virtue of having been picked. There is no bullshit detector because It doesn't pick a low proba token in the first place, that's the entire point of the system.
>but then what happens when it hallucinates?
it doesn't hallucinate, it's doing exactly what it was designed for: picking whatever correlated most with the previous token based on its training data. If you ask the spec of a car that doesnt exist and it responds with a sheet that is bullshit, it's not coming out of nowhere, it's what was the next most probable thing to say, generally what appeared most in term of car spec sheets in the training data, with flavors based on all the previous tokens.
>but then AI is inherently flawed and fucking bullshit?
yes, enjoy the bubble while it lasts.

>>108496061
its not that hard to just do your own research anon, it uses information from google and reddit, you can just go there to get the information you need, people have been doing this for decades before this useless psyop crudely disguised as revolutionary technology came along, and it rarely took longer than it took for the bot to generate a half coherent response (especially considering you need to fact check its bullshit by using google anyways)
>>
>>108496122
Because they are token probabilities, not truth probabilities. The model have no idea what's true, only what's an appropriate token based on the training data.

Realistically, why can't you just vibecode your own AI?
>>
>>108498169

I don't know why but I've always thought trackballs are for fats.
>>
>>108495877
Gameball thumb is a rebadged chink ball, I haven't used it and I don't know if its geometry is any good. Gameball is a rebadged industry mouse (Cursor Controls) designed and manufactured in a first world country, like L-trac. There's a pro version coming out at some point but I don't know where that's going to be made, I assume after thumb that the company will shift production to China to save money.

Most other roller bearing mice are just using off the shelf shielded bearings, and I've never been a fan of these because they're designed more for spinning. Good for the arcade, not good for computing.
>>
>>108498959
thanks for the info.

I've noticed nobody is shilling the Ploopy trackballs this time around. did they start failing or something?
>>
I was going to quote all the shit trackballs in here, but 100% of them are SHIT.
Fuck you fucking thumb-ball fuckers, you ruined trackballs forever.
This is the only good style of trackball - "over shoulder" trackball gives you both precision and speed. I've drawn AND gamed on that fucker. Sniper.
Fuck your shitty thumb-balls, fuck your shitty symmetry-balls, over-shoulder or jump over a bridge.

What the fuck are you talking about, I've never seen anyone claim this. Also penultimate means second to last, what would you or "anti-AI" fags consider the last, AGI?
Even if AGI is the last possible brain it would still need to go through tons of iterations to reach perfection and those iterations should be considered different.
There's also a ton of possible brains between ours and AGI.
