>>108516922That would be the only reasonable amount to pay for a hobby, but 20$ per month for unlimited makes no sense if you think about it.That's like the price of 80 4k gemini images, they would profit nothing. The internet is full of exposed apikeys and you can vibe code a frontend easily.
What's the best way to make words the big words and maximize screen size without making websites unusable. On desktop by the way, starting to get the boomer eye thing where I don't want to put my head near the screen

I wish AI models would stop patronizing me. Fuck off with your "seek help" bullcrap.
>>108518204It's probably a political statement. It is in favour of left wing control mechanisms and prioritisation of feelings. The left has been trying to declare everybody mentally ill a lot. Then they suggest brain washing and meds (often amphetamine like, for kids).Basically you open yourself up to the government and establishment, then they medicate you and brainwash you to make you into a good citizen.

Why do even good Apple products make /g/ seethe?
>>108522033I loopove gestures though. It’s so nice to switch desktops with a swipe left or right or to bring up mission control by swiping up. Mission control is great btw just for keeping track of all your open windows and it automatically brings up the dock too which is nice if you keep it hidden which you should on a macbook due to small screen.
>>108515745so you can reply with your rage and seethe thats built up inside?
>>108522049Indians don't use premium products like Apple'sIndians use the cheapest shit available and that means they will predominantly use Linux (because its free) and Windows (easy to pirate) on the cheapest platform they can obtain, which is probably post-lease used thinkpads
The OS just sucks on Macs.It is crazy that if someone put a gun to my head and said that I had to use MacOS or Windows11 (which is also obviously an unplayable pile of AI assisted trash spaghetti code), I would have to choose Windows 11.MacOS is just crippled and unable to do basic things all the time.Simplest example is that I can't copy-paste music from my computer to my phone via USB.Crippled and retarded, with a death by a million paper cuts like this.Inb4 "just used some cloud solution or AirDrop."

Why do people say EE is any better then CS when it comes to threat from automation? Automated circuit design(which is already done to an extent) is going to be super-charged next.
>>108521443LLMs aren't even useful for analyzing schematics on the basis of netlists yet. I tried a minimal circuit with some deliberate errors and got good results but as soon as the circuit contains a couple of components it completely shits the bed - being less useful than a completely green EE.Turns out designing hardware requires more than looking up shit. The false positives were really funny - showing that LLMs are completely useless in domains that are not 100% text-based and that requires the consideration of things that are trivial for even average engineers like geometry or the limitation of manufacturing methods. There's a reason why even layout is mostly done by hand for anything practical that has to pass EMC testing on the first run.
>>108521443also because actual CS courses are absolute baby tier compared to EEalso lots of EE programs hook you up with cool internships and certs
I wouldn't worry about either being automated any time in the next decade ir two.Doing what you have more of a passion for between those two options is what I would recommend.
you use your phone every day. so why not buy the best one?
>>108522453Tried one in the store before, but it's too tall when opened, and I'm still iffy about the fragile folding screen. I'd be willing to give it a shot if they just make the thing the normal s26's height when opened at least.
>>108522469Yeah, I was surprised to find out the S26 was actually smaller than it. I contemplated getting the shittiest version of the S26 just because of its size but the folding thing is just too qlz. The folding screen does seem like a ticking time bomb but I'm tired of giant slabs for phones. When I go to the gym I can at least keep this phone in my pocket and it's not too distracting.
already did
>>108507604It's most likely a browser setting or 'feature', since I have this also and have an entirely different phone. It makes handshakes nearly impossible as you go back to enter the code and woops lol I reloaded you back to the login screen sorry
>>108507375That's not an iPhone 17 pro max though

Why is it that a Codex xhigh reviewer almost always finds a bunch of stuff, but the same Codex model can not implement it correctly in the first place? Sometimes I loop for hours trying to pass Codex' code review. And it's somehow even worse for docs, Codex basically always says our docs are shit.
>>108523203Llms are not deterministic + They just want to make you happy. So if you keep asking them to find problems in a thing, the way to make you happy is to find a problem, not tell you there isn't one.Claude is the best about this, but right now, you need to know when you're done.
How would you improve it and make it better?
Allow me to use any desktop environment I want with both HDR and VRR support2 features related to display shouldn't tie me to Plasma or GNOME. I want my desktop to look like Ubuntu 6.10Also add file grouping to all file managers, I think only Dolphin is capable of doing this (pic related)Also extra effort on reducing input latency as much as physically possible
>>108522889>I don't want a functioning and usable OSBut why???

>>108523032>Works on my machineMy current uptime for my servers on Windows is well over 3 months. My current uptime for my PC is under a month because of a power outtage.Your uptime is less than 1 day because your software broke something, again, that you have to deal with.
>>108518482If you're going to go that route no reason to actually change the directories at all. You hide it from the user by never having them need to know what's in there.

>>108516110200k tokens in 30 minutes is 111 tokens/sec. That's pretty fantastic speed. You're unlikely to get that kind of speed out of any of the large models.>>108516412>>Opus 4.6 is roughly the same size as Kimi 2.5>Source?There's no source, but if you know what the top end hardware is then you'd know that they can't really have models that are more than 2-3x the (file)size of Kimi K2.5.Nvidia and AMD both sell B300-s and Mi355x-s in 8x systems. That's about 2.1-2.3 TB of VRAM. To have models larger than 3x of Kimi (or GLM 5 size) you would need to connect multiple of these systems together for inference. Even if you do that, memory bandwidth of individual chips sets limits to how big the active parameter count of a model can be. A B300 is 2x 4.1 TB/s. I'm unsure whether they can use 8TB/s for inference, but let's assume they do. GLM5 at full 16-bit precision has an active parameter count of 40B meaning that each token takes 80 GB. That would only allow 100 tokens/s as top end theoretical speed per GPU. Realistically the "2x 4.1 TB/s" means it's less than that. If anybody wanted to make a model larger than this they would either need custom hardware or they would make a very large model with a small active parameter count compared to total parameters.
