I love my Fostex TH-X00s so fucking much anons, but my god they're the flimsiest high-tier headphones I've ever bought. Over the 6 years I've had them I've had to:

>replace the earcup hinge on one side
>replace the pivot on the OTHER side
>open up the headband to fix it after the slide on one side just snapped
>resolder the cable on BOTH EARS before giving up and buying a new cable
>replace the earpads after they completely fell apart

Sidenote, has anyone had any luck doing a connector swap mod on these things? I've got the version with the dogshit proprietary connector, not the hardwired ones.

GK kunten came from china. feels bit plastic, included tips are abysmal, cable is ok. But i can not make proper seal with them no matter tips i use, they just dont have weight to stay inside my ear canal so only mid bass for me, im thinking about swaping cable for something heavier, maybe extra weight will help with staying inside my ears. Compared to multidriver IEM that is much more expensive it just sounds different, im sure multi driver is much more capable, technical and have less distortion but desu closing one of that cheapo sets inside more premium shells and i would be happy. All differences in sound are due to FR and if i would EQ more expensive set to much fr of kunten i would have hard time telling witch is better.

Never. The 5 button standard is too ingrained at this point. Dual scroll is technically completely trivial to implement, and yet you can count the number of mice with dual scroll on one hand. Best you'll get is keyboard buttons on your mouse with a tool for remapping them.
