How are you supposed to hold a carrot in order to cut it in half and not cut your fingers along with it?
>>
>>107627064
if it's dots the solution is the slide with the number of dots that only appears once
if it's shapes it's the shape that only appears once
if it's letters once again it's the slide that only appear once. Slides usually appear in pairs so you'll have 2 slides with the same letter highlighted, or two slides with nothing highlighted, and then one slide that's unique

position, angle, color, background, etc don't matter

Picrel is right about the culture part. "It's good enough" is a plague upon society.
Also, have you seen the school curriculum of 6th grade? It's SO easy to cheat all the homeworks and assignments. No wonder there's shortage of smart students nowadays

~40% of American adults has reading level lower than 6th grade. Illiteracy rate is extremely high in US

...And yet 40% go to university. How many psychology majors does a country need?
If you're smart (or a "disadvantaged" "POC") you get a scholarship.
College has become the new high school and we keep shoveling money at it so there's every incentive for them to continue hiking prices while admitting and retaining idiots.

What the fuck is the point of these high resolution smartphone camera sensors and why does everyone use them?

The digital zoom argument doesn't make sense as most if not all phones with high res main cameras also have telephoto cameras, and the ones that don't have telephoto cameras usually have hardware that's too weak to process all those pixels. Better image quality in daylight also doesn't make sense as these sensors aren't designed to output at full resolution and demosaicing algorithms vary wildly from OEM to OEM. Better image quality at night doesn't make sense either as you could get the exact same results with a traditional 12MP sensor that's something like 1/1.3" compared to a 50MP sensor of the same size because you're already getting the large (relatively) individual pixel size from the jump instead of having to bin a bunch of pixels to get there. Is it just bigger number better marketing? Maybe it has its uses on actual cameras but I don't see the point on phones.

JFK didn't accomplish anything. Didn't even serve 1 term before inting. He doesn't deserve the praise he gets, doesn't deserve any coins or airports. Growing up in USA public schools, you would think JFK was one of the most important Presidents, he's lauded like Washington or Lincoln but the dude accomplished nothing except stealing one election and dying

While I'm ranting about it this is why Linux was ruined. We didn't have all these idiots around until web interfaces for git were built and they could lurk and participate through github. The moment social media type features were added to the Linux development process we started getting dumb shit like CoCs and endless drama only faggots would care about. When it was all still done through the mailing lists none of this was a problem.

Why is FreeBSD starting to suffer so much and import so much cancer? Xenforo powered forum. Where 99% of the people using it can't even use make.

The more "user friendly" and "community focused" a project becomes the worse it becomes. POSIX OSs were already user friendly even in the 80s. The entire point was it being user friendly enough for someone that knew what a compiler was and how to read C. Even if they couldn't program they were at least smart enough to download a tar and extract the contents then run make/make install.

The three major BSDs are already the best documented POSIX based OSs. If retards can't be bothered to read the man pages they shouldn't be hand held. They shouldn't be given a platform to cry on either. Fuck them. They shouldn't be touching a computer in the first place.
>new captcha starts giving me more complex images the moment I switch to OpenBSD workstation despite it being on the same network as my FreeBSD workstation

Can I use bsd on a laptop?

Any version of Windows since 1995 has been more polished, production-ready and user-friendly than any Linux distro ever made. That's obvious to anybody who has installed both of them on the same machine.

Are Linux users just lying about their distros being a better experience than a Windows installation?

imo the biggest barrier to learning to use linux is knowing that you can give up at any time and go back to windows
you didn't have that choice picking up windows so you just powered through the bullshit.
make no mistake, you will need to learn new things, it's not windows. it's entirely up to you how much you want to leave windows

As a veteran moderator of a certain distro's subreddit I just want the community to stop spreading stuff about Linux being way better for gaming, it's getting annoying having all the kids come with their i5's from 2012 asking if they can run X game from the current year or playstation emulators

Lol. I only run linux now.I dual booted for a long time. Ended up just using Linux more. Only kept for certain video games, but eventually wiped windows from the drive and went Linux only.

https://www.phoronix.com/news/Spectre-V1-RISC-V-Patches
>Spectre V1 as a reminder is the variant for Bounds Check Bypass with CPU speculative execution in conditional branches. The Linux kernel RISC-V code hasn't seen Spectre V1 protections since earlier more basic RISC-V core designs have been immune to Variant One and other Spectre vulnerabilities. But newer more complex RISC-V core designs are bringing some of the same challenges exhibited on x86_64 and AArch64 architectures.
