I don't like these new captchas
It reminds me of every time I was rejected for a job because I wasn't fast enough to finish their annoying IQ tests.

That's not your setup, why must you turn this thread into the house of lies?

I like how a stick of RAM costs 2000 bucks now.

Thank you, anons. Thank you for this shit.
I guess I will never build another computer. But that's they you guys planned it. First you make people dependent on tech, then you remove the tech.

also fuck you with the new, more tedious captcha.
Everything goes in the wrong direction. Scan your face and pay 2k to post on 4chan am I right?

You can still use Winamp, there's a few other players that work with Winamp skins too like XMMS, QMMP and even AIMP I think...

nope. the chips are expensive, hard to get (you have to trust aliexpress shops, which means no warranty), and they're slow. there's really nothing appealing about them unless you choose your hardware based on politics.

>Intelligence
LLMs don't have it by definition. Intelligence is the ability to adapt to new conditions (i.e. to find inherently new ways of solving problems). They can't do it because their parameters are static and attention is limited
>>
Intelligence is also having the concept of "doubt", or "nuance". Like "you MIGHT want to check this, but I don't understand the full context" instead of "This is clearly wrong".

How is this so fucking hard. Stupid people really do think they're smart.
>>
>>107636080
One of the wisest words I've ever heard from an anon is "It's hard to win an argument with an intelligent person, but it's impossible to win an argument with a retard."

An essential component of AGI is the ability to learn. AI as it currently exists is fixed and has no ability to grow beyond the current state of its model. These fixed models do well to fake intelligence, but are incapable of producing anything novel.

How are you spending your last few years of personal computer ownership?
Taking any cautionary measures to squeeze as much life out of your hardware before you have to give it up and by some ultraslim government regulated streaming slab to daily drive as your computer?

Spotify has a popularity parameter from 0 to 100, 50% of songs have a popularity value of 0 and they are archived at half the quality as anything with a non-zero popularity. 0 popularity is something like under 5000 listens

If you backup just the stuff with 1-99 popularity you probably get a good signal to noise ratio and a reasonable and respectable archive of humanity's musical output for little effort
