Incredible how stagnant the rest of tech has gotten while Apple just keeps innovating.

I don't game so pixel is the best for me. Pixel is the only phone which matches the premiumness of iphone
>>
Every phone is fine these days. I'll just buy whatever gets the job done and doesn't cost too much.
>>
>>107662428
I had a Pixel 8 but ended up going back to my S6 edge, it just got so fucking hot all the time and I literally never did anything on it.
>>
>>107662420
Don't care, there literally are zero good alternatives.
Sony phones die out of nowhere after 2 years on average
Motorola have terrible QA and produce defective models OOB
Pixel phones have zero tech support and many quirks + terrible design choices.
iPhones are limited as fuck, literal paperweights.
Chink phones are trojan ridden ad infested bot nets.
>>
>>107662287
You say lagdroid when iOS 26 literally stutters on the home screen. Never in my life had a more buggy phone than my iPhone

False.
Fuck off with your propaganda. If it were the new normal, people who bought 64GB back when Skylake was still the hot new thing, would not be in a position where selling their RAM would be profitable.

>Our North Star is ‘1 engineer, 1 month, 1 million lines of code.’ To accomplish this previously unimaginable task, we’ve built a powerful code processing infrastructure. Our algorithmic infrastructure creates a scalable graph over source code at scale. Our AI processing infrastructure then enables us to apply AI agents, guided by algorithms, to make code modifications at scale. The core of this infrastructure is already operating at scale on problems such as code understanding.”

.unwrap is opt out, assert is opt in. It’s the opposite approach to what Rust usually takes (i.e. Rust should be safe by default, but .unwrap is both easy and unsafe).

No testing is required with rust.
It comes correct right out of the gate, the compiler ensures it’s safety, even though it takes a bit more time. This is the whole point!
The compiler uses special techniques such as “borrow checking” that proves correctness (if it compiles, obviously)

I broked my phone so i factory reset it before repair

before that i just copy and pasted all my shit from internal storage to pc

now after getting it back i just found out that app settings including chromium bookmarks are stored in android/data/data, and the pc couldn't read it because it required root access

those juden also have something called "knox"-a circuit that breaks when you try to root your phone

years of goon material, gone, just like that.

you should at least be testing it to make sure it works now and then in a few weeks. the failure rate in month 1 is extremely high and then if it survives that there's a decent chance it works for at least a few years

Is windows 10 better than windows 11? Can I do all the same things?
>>
>>107662349
I would call Windows 10 better in a lot of ways and Windows 11 better in very few ways. The 1 major way Windows 11 is better has nothing to do with an improvement it made but is simply the fact that 10 is ending support now, meaning new viruses and shit won't get security updates anymore, you're more vulnerable if you're downloading risky shit or interacting with people online. Outside of that I would prefer 10 every time, not that 10 is great but 11 took away a lot of options and added lots of annoyances.

Not just demos like 3dmark something playable. Hopefully lightweight (not disk space hogs) and has RTX and DLSS options.

Do you ever treat your codebase like a place you can go to seek refuge from the world?

Like maybe you're fond of the form validation, or index search of your application, so you go read the code and tinker around with it - or even just think about it - because it's feels comfy?
>>
>>107662646
Yeah, like 10 years ago, before I grew up and realized all of that is so far removed from the only thing that matters - the value it provides to the user.
