>In 2008, the principal developer of the ext3 and ext4 file systems, Theodore Ts'o, stated that although ext4 has improved features, it is not a major advance; it uses old technology and is a stop-gap. Ts'o said that Btrfs is the better direction because "it offers improvements in scalability, reliability, and ease of management".

Does RTX upscale work like any other upscale and will it try to fix minor imperfections in the image? If it is just sharper and glossier couldn't care less.
>>
>>108354889
it works like actual upscalers (lanczos, remacri, etc)
it doesnt "fix" anything, it upscales
you may be thinking of hires fix which is just adding a bit of noise to a latent, upscaling (with one of the above methods) and passing through ksampler to denoise again
you can compare using "upscale by" nodes with lanczos vs rtx upscale, it's nearly identical
it's not necessarily "sharper and glossier" either, there's other nodes that handle that
see

nice! I was wondering if the new upscaler was worth checking out or not. I'd def be interested in dropping seedvr2 cuz of how slow it is
>>
>>108355000
yah if your gpu is compatible it's basically no time to upscale, just be sure to run the requirements.txt install (nvidia-vfx) which some people say they've had problems getting installed
also needs updated comfy i believe, which also has some new packages in requirements.txt
for my comparisons vs seedvr2 it's pretty much the same with huge time reduction although seedvr2 has some effects built-in the node which may require other nodes with rtx upscale (like color gradient/grain) but that's just extra stuff

I wrote a program.

all hail big cheese

Hi, I for completely unsuspicious reasons need to sniff out packets on a home network to find a particular website that is being accessed by another device(s). I have a laptop, wireshark and an external usb network adapter. How can I go on about this? How can I configure the network adapter to catch all traffic.
>>
>>108354779
Wireshark with filters like tls.handshake.type == 1 and/or dns.
Note that tls.handshake.type includes QUIC as well so you have to click on the I think it's called "decrypted QUIC" part.
Or just use XKEYSCORE you glownigger.

Try installing a tampermonkey script (it's possible, just annoying). Also what if you want to be signed into youtube without it signing you into google? You are also giving google and their advertising business more market share to control website architecture (by deciding over the standards of the most popular browser).

Don't forget it was also much simpler so you had a chance to actually UNDERSTAND it even when you're just a normal guy looking into it for a couple hours.
You could replace a belt on a walkman yourself and get it to work in an hour. Try to replace a SMD chip on your phone now without any idea what to do.

>unusually luscious hair
Not unusual at all.
The secret is to use the blow-dryer correctly and a brush which will already make them fluffy as fuck. Then you use a bit of hairspray to keep the volume stable for the whole evening.
It's quite the maintenance and rain can fuck it up instantly but most women can still achieve this no problem. They just don't because it's maintenance intensive and no one has fucking time anymore.

I just bought one and it's unironically the best monitor I've ever used in my life. Nothing else comes even close to the quality of this thing. And that's not even considering the build quality of the stand and how smooth the height adjustment is. How is it that Apple always so far ahead of the entire computer industry with their high end products?

They get paid for that. Nobody is spending thousands anymore on Apple's overpriced crap to do things a windows/linux machine can do for much cheaper.
>>
>>108351252
what is it used for?
>>
>>108351356
>These might be better for hollywood postprod
They're used across more than just the film industry anon, and yes that's the point. For professional work, they're better. Professional equipment is designed for professionals and filled with technology that professionals want and need to do their jobs, and built to a higher spec. The mac monitor is a consumer monitor for non-professionals. It's "usable" in that domain, but like the other anon said it'd be mid shit missing the vast majority of things you want out of your gear. The bump from 4k to 5k and double the refresh rate is nothing, it literally does not matter. It does not improve the quality of the monitor for professional work. Everything else is basic.
>there is *zero* actual 5k120hz monitors on the market
Because it's weird configuration. 5k is a meme resolution that offers no real benefit over 4k unless the DPI is <100 or something. Consumer grade monitors have screamed past 120hz as well. It has high peak brightness, but 1000cd/m2 is what you can expect out of it, and that's pretty bog standard. The color gamut and accuracy is regular high end consumer crap and the viewing angles aren't anything special either. If they had released an 8k@120hz monitor with these specs, and drove it via their own proprietary video signal, that might be worth writing home about. As it stands? It's not that impressive honestly. Just another generic high end consumer monitor in the pile.

At least it doesn't have smart features.
>>
>>108352601

>>
>>108351252
If it has a chip doesn’t that make it a stand alone imac? Or do you still need to hook a device up to it?
