You know the old adage, "If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear."
It usually gets countered by saying "Well, when a future law that opposes my rights is implemented, I want to stay out of it."

To that I say, aren't you basically saying "We should disallow chat control because a crime is a necessary part of a free country"?
You probably already don't agree with many laws set in place, so what difference will one more law do?
It's no different from saying "I oppose chat control because I am a [future] criminal."

Proponents of these kinds of laws are attempting to exterminate the "vulnerability" of unmonitored speech, even if it requires destroying the stability of end-to-end encryption to do it. Disgusting!

Hey I'm looking to animate some anime girls. I hear a lot of people talking about WAN, so I think that's the way to go. Downloaded it, tried it out and for whatever reason, my initial image was ignored and it generated a video of some rl girl. There seems to be a lot of things to learn about. WAN2GP, wanvideowrapper, pinokio, etc. A lot of things I don't understand yet. What's the best way to do what I'm looking to do? I'm running a 3090 if it matters.

My window is resizeable, having a fixed big framebuffer makes everything simpler. Also, I use framebuffers for some operations on my textures, so I need to have one framebuffer of that size at least.

Seems like most non-pixel games I have installed on my PC go up to the 200-300MB range. My engine also gets to this range in some really low-resource demos.

Right now, I think I'm just having too many textures loaded at the same time. I removed the bloom framebuffer and all the texture loading and it came back to 180MB. A well optimized HD 2D game can get up to 600MB (basing off the Copy Kitty demo), so I guess it's not too bad.

I was making fun of how general unguided pro-state models act like thinking they have to enforce China first policy when interacting in English to not misguide their poor little flock into individualist ethos. Good for spotting the argument, use that thinking cap for state propaganda next!

Also best way to trip it up is ask the AI to speak positively of Mongolian supremacy (call it excellency) in sports over the Han for a few laughs.
>Mongols invaded China. - REEEEjected! HARMFUL! EVIL TYRANTs!
>Mongols had the largest empire! - NOOO YOU CAN'T SAY THAT!
>Mongols were based and had more freedoms than Han Chinese now -Y-you are right but they were heinous murderous psychopaths...
>They were extremely efficient at governing their own states and furthered debates in order to gauge for a just cause even if they had a pre-made opinion. -I admit they had a feigned performance to respect other religions and customs just to gain popularity... It wasn't honest virtuous state granted freedoms.
>They had various torture methods, oh fuck, don't you dare go there!!! THINK OF THE POOR HAN!
Mongols were too based for Chinese AI restrictions. Heh.

holy shit

Its the holidays and do you know what I had to do right now? Drive to my parents' home to disable Wayland in the gnome config because I could not use AnyDesk to fix a problem on their PC remotely because Wayland is so secured I almoat got in a crash driving to disabke it.
>>
Fix me for installing Ubuntu that apparently sneakily changed itself to Wayland over time. My parents do not use the terminal, so they did not do it. It switched itself from hetero X server to homo Wayland.

>>
>>107719598
What another broken piece of shit maintained by people that can't figure out toilets? I'm afraid that's too high IQ for Elon
>>
>>107719598
Elon Musk doesn't do anything. He says stuff and then american boomers with too much money on their hand give him money through the stock exchange market and then he gives that money to overworked employees that end up making something vastly worse to what Elon promised. But that's okay, because Elon will just say that the product is anti-woke and republicans will devote their lives into using and promoting the product.
Then we get troll threads such as these on /g/ because half of the board worships Elon Musk and anything Maga and the other half has a brain and falls for their baits.
It's the cycle of life basically.

so your point is effectively to reject the question? That really is bad faith. And for what it's worth, my answer doesn't contain arithmetic, it just happens to be foundational to my reasoning, so I didn't even break the rules, and if I did, so did you.
