Jesus fucking christ, You used to be able to Google and find a detailed guide to troubleshoot something tech related now you would only get an answer from the AI and the rest of the results are just reddit threads but all replies are like subjective or " i dunno lol".

Linux and FOSS are actually mostly used by political right and countries that do not follow or care about your tiny woke bubble where you cry about how "Linux is woke".

>the Linux kernel or FOSS software itself does not enforce a CoC in its code, only in its community processes (like mailing lists)
>you can create your own forks with your own community processes (like mailing lists) to enforce your own CoC or not have it (and it is equal to that original, not less important)
>you can compile, modify, and distribute any version of the kernel without ever agreeing to a CoC
>GPL gives you the legal right to fork Linux, remove what you don't like, and redistribute it, no permission needed
>China, a one-party authoritarian state, uses Linux extensively without adopting Western social values
>North Korea runs a Linux-based OS in total isolation from global “woke” culture
>Russia, Iran, and others do the same

If these regimes can use Linux while rejecting Western liberalism, so can you. You don't need permission to run Linux. You just need to compile it.

That is not even competition, they are so behind. Even if ASML stop researching and making new machines, chinks would be still at least 15 years behind.

Your complaint about C is really about pointers. Null terminated strings are irrelevant and did not need be mentioned. Your argument would have applied just the same if C had used pascal strings, or even had a proper string object.

Python, JavaScript, PHP, Swift, Rust, and Emacs Lisp each have different ideas about what a string is. No two are the same. Could you support all of them on the same hardware?

>>107675226
For what it's worth, whenever one of these bots does something, I hold it's parent company (openai, anthropic, google, etc) 100% responsible. Sort of like they're employees of the company that owns them even though they aren't people and thus can't be employees (or slaves). You can't really blame a specific bot because it's impossible to tell where one bot ends and another begins.

He won’t because he’s incapable. Regardless, he wouldn’t do it anyway because his audience is too retarded to learn anything new. He’s just like the dozens of other “tech” sloptubers out there, only difference is that this one has a /g/ coat of paint. If you actually want to learn new things, focus on reading the classic textbooks. If you must learn from sloptube, don’t “learn” from a random nobody that stays surface level and uses clickbait thumbnails and other patterns to maximize watch time.

Yes, and even then getting it to work properly and "cheaply" is kind of an unsolved problem (also there is as of yet no good software support for properly utilizing that many memory channels).
Right now I'm prototyping a build using an ASRock Rack Turin 2d24g motherboard with an additional PCB to convert the MCIO cables to PCIe.

>>107683390
I have actually had an issue where with 4 sticks I was having stability issues unless I reduce the memory speed from the rated 3200 "MHz" to 3066 "MHz".
But this issue only occurred on a B450 motherboard after upgrading the CPU from a 3700X to a 5950X (which also seemed to be causing issues with the CPU power delivery).
I didn't actually look up for how many memory channels the RAM rating is guaranteed, it may very well be that officially it is only guaranteed for 2 sticks.
>>
>>107683456
It also depends if sticks are single or dual rank. On a b450 I have I can run 4 single rank sticks in dual channel at 3600.
