my previous linix experience was Mint. it was nice but dual booting on the same SSD broke the master boot record and i don't wish to mess with such shit ever again.

EndeavourOS is just arch for people that respect their time. It just configures the stuff you would have already done yourself anyway while not restricting you in any way in terms of customizing it further.

It's most likely going to be the default distro moving forwards.

-No text fringing that can be noticed unless I take a camera and zoom in really hard
-No burn in present
-Never hid any taskbars on wangblows or linux
-Browsing for several hours a day, in fact I'm playing less and less vidya
-Pixel shifting on the lowest setting, so pretty much hard to tell
-No flicker as long as I keep framerates somewhat consistent
-Panel protect every 24h as opposed to 4

I'm looking for a new monitor and honestly it's hard not to just buy an OLED at this point. I was looking at miniLED but it just looks like shit.

I didn't ever do a webdev so I can't argue about the avg webdev's experience and difficulty but to me webdev is no different than any other dev job except you have a presentation layer that's sent as a http (mostly) and that's it. I don't see any reason why would webdev be classified any other different than like programming embedded systems with their respective logic and architecture. they're all systems albeit just with different requirements and quality expectations but it doesn't inherently invalidate webdev as a mediocre field.
