I used to watch his daily dev update posts on mastodon, where he would post updates on Ares, Hare and his side projects (linux kernel clone, minecraft clone)
It made me motivated to develop something myself too. Now the only motivation I get is watching Tsoding do half finished meme projects that last for one week at most.

>what does he have against stallman?
Not only him, but basically most distro maintainers and other foss devs have a severe stallman derangement syndrome because of stallman's autism, basically he says and does weird shit so he's public enemy number one.
But if I'm honest here, that's got nothing to it, rms is the only person left who cares about foss and he follows his own example, this is a big problem for the leftists infecting all foss spaces, because they believe "nazis" shouldn't be able to use their software, ergo making them non foss, and a big part of anti woke people support stallman, so it's killing two birds with the same stone, they wipe all "undesirables" from foss and remove the primary roadblock from making all foss software non foss.
It's no joke all rust rewrites of long standing software come with cuck licenses not foss licenses.

>14 yo is the age of consent in non retarded countries
Anon, the age of consent is literally zero if it's between two kids of the same age, the problem with this shit is that he's basically saying he wants 14yo girls to be whores and be socially shamed if she wants to have kids at 20yo by forcing her to go visit a doctor to remove it.
Although I think you can remove this yourself, but I guess you need to be able to stretch your vagina a lot to fit your hand inside.

TPM does roughly the same as chips in chip cards: it stores private keys without any way to access them. You can totally emulate that from the host.
(although it waters down the actual idea of having securely stored keys)

A friend of mine said: "fastman, fastgirl, fastmaid, fatgirl, fatmaid is a three michelinstar*** concept". I don't have an opinion about it myself and it's not something I would say myself, but this is what my friend said. I'm also not really sure about what he meant by it but it's what he said. I'm just explaining what my friend said, it's not something I have said or would say myself just to be clear. I hope this is clear, but just to clarify more: This is not something I would say; it's something that my friend said and I'm just repeating what my friend said. I hope everyone understand this and don't think that I would ever say or have said or will say this because it's not true. I'm just explaining what my friend said and I'm not even fully clear about what he meant with it. I would never say something like this myself; I'm just explaining what my friend said just to be clear. I also love everyone in the world just to be clear. I would never say something like this myself just to be clear. I hope this is clear. I love everyone in the entire world just to be clear. I just like to explain what my friend said, but I don't always agree with what my friend says just to be clear. I love everyone and I hope that we can get along. I hope this is clear. I don't have an opinion about it myself just to be clear. I hope this is clear. I love everyone.

How the fuck does it work?
How come, when I started a company and tried cold-emailing other businesses, half my emails were deferred, yet my inbox gets flooded by thousands of rakshits offering SEO/webdev/mobile app services? Sometimes they'll send me the same email four times, or send me emails pretending to be American. How the fuck is that shit not flagged as spam?
How do they even find my email? The company is eastern euro, based in a non-jeeted eastern euro country, providing services only in said country.

Two more weeks. Jewtel still has over 20B in cash and short term assets. Over 150B in long term assets. The only nuclear scenario for Jewtel would be if they have to write off Intel 16A in 2027/2028 and then ditch their Fabs and go full TSMC which all of their current gen products are already on as a stopgap for Intel 16A

So I was building a computer for my mom.
And the first thing that came to mind was that /g/ mantra, "Install Linux on a computer for your parents!" And that's exactly what I did.
But when I told my mom, "I built a PC for you and installed Linux on it!"
She gave me that look of disgust I've never seen her give.
I immediately wiped Linux off that PC and installed Windows 11 Pro.
This made me realize Linux has a serious image problem, and I don't think you guys are helping.

This. She doesn't know what Linux is, she just didn't want her sperg son doing anything weird (this happens every day, she had a reason to show disgust - and luckily OP has be practicing his emotion recognition skills).

Linux Mint with Windows theme would be too subversive for my tastes, but to a normie it's indistinguishable. He should have just installed Mint Cinnamon and said "here you go", and it would have just werked.

I remember HS in 2005. The dumb it nerds put Debian on all the hs library computers. I think every student hated it kek. Just install Windows for normies

every dev hardcoding their program for systemd should be shot in the head. Imagine gatekeeping your shit program behind redhat and excluding alternate init systems and bsd users.
>>
>>106532748
>You can use the Arch repos (extra, multilib) on Artix
I know
>, and the AUR usually works fine as well, I've never had any issues with it
Until it doesn't because of dependency on systemd
I really had no time to learn how to convert systemd service scripts to dinit(i found later though https://github.com/mobin-2008/systemd_to_dinit_converter/), so i had to reinstall into Arch that night
The only other nitpick was no easy support for steam and nvidia proprietary driver(after installer you have mesa driver, so it causes more time tinkering to make it work)
Otherwise alright distro, i may convert back later once my system shits itself
>>
>>106532708
>potentially a pain in the ass on Artix
Depending on the program, you will have to install its init package (eg cronie and cronie-openrc) and then enable the service with sudo 'rc-update add cronie default' (or the init equivalent). It's pretty straightforward.
>>
>>106532804
Only straight forward if the init version of the package exists. If not you have to manually the service script yourself. I ran into this more than a few times using runit.
>>
>>106532789
Last time I tried steam it worked fine, and I'm an amdfag so idk.
>>106532813
I remember an anon in a previous artix thread mentioning he would just use the runit scripts from void in his artix system. I also just remembered I had an issue with colord and dinit when I first tried this init, it just wouldn't start for some reason.
