I'm thinking about transferring my esim from my Samsung a16 to my pixel 8a.

My a16 can't upload things in Chrome anymore, always refreshes the page when I try. Spotify crashes sometimes..

My pixel is way snappier, smaller, I can actually upload things etc.

But I had my a16 for longer and have been using it as my primary phone for so long. It's my baby. I don't want to desert it like that.

What do?

You can't transfer eSIMs. Ask your carrier for the supported way to move your number. Usually it's just requesting a new eSIM and the old one will automatically go away.
>>
>>107727432
OP? You are really cool. And I really mean it. Sure I'm drunk... but you are kakuii (cool). And I'd recommend that you install grapheneos and setup a private space (a 2nd appdrawer) for your google/play integrity/banking/gaming apps and rely on FOSS on your main profile.

image-dired shows image thumbnails and it's built-in. There's a recent package that extends the functionality for videos:https://github.com/captainflasmr/dired-video-thumbnail
but I haven't used it. I don't really use image-dired. If I want to see image thumbnails, I open sxiv from dired (I have a function that passes all the image files in a dired buffer to sxiv) and switch to thumbnail mode. I also have a function that marks the files I selected in sxiv. It's pretty useful.

When are the porn industry big shots going to get into this and create coomer models? I really can't imagine them witnessing all this and not thinking they can get in on the action.
Conversely, why is everyone making these models so prude? Of course people are going to create porn with them and "jailbreak" them however they can. So why not just enable that from the start.
It's such a weird thing to enforce no-nudity on local models to begin with.
If they want to cover their ass they can simply have the clip part be no-nudity in the official release and then release a nudity one on the side for the coomers, so it's not baked into the model proper.
>>
>>107728815
Real truth is that even if you don't sense it, porn works also with energy. If you, a retard, are not sensing it in the video, it is not good enough for your current mood.
For chronic masturbators like yourself maybe ai is suitable. still hard to imagine.
>>
>>107728833

First of all congrats, you are about to know 1337 h4x0r knowledge that 99% of humanity will never know about: WebP can compress PNG images with 0 loss in quality. It's not limited to lossy slop and this is important for video screenshots because video codecs are not (usually) lossless. PNG related has been extracted from a madVR render using very high quality NGU chroma upscaling, this is as good as it gets for video screenshots.

Lossless Webp: https://files.catbox.moe/4bi9sh.webp
40% smaller than PNG, from about 800 to 500 KB

Lossless JXL: https://files.catbox.moe/xb2c1v.jxl
50% smaller than PNG, from about 800 to 400 KB

JXL wins here in compression efficiency but not in everything else. Lossless WebP is:
>faster to decode
>supported by a gorrillion image viewers/editors
>support by nearly 100% of web browsers
>more battle tested (ie most of the serious security vulnerabilities have been discovered)
>native support on most modern OSs

you forgot the part where you can also have animation and transparency.
I find it crazy that there were no widely supported options for lossy transparency or transparent animations with an attempt at compression. You can also have lossless transparent animations too.

You're expecting people to act rationally, but the truth is everyone wants it because it's the new toy from valve and they don't have a practical use planned nor a need for it. Its a 16gb ram sff econobox with an apu that will sell for more than you should objectively spend on an sff pc.

it's meant as a console killer and if they're smart (they are), valve will sell them at production cost or less which they certainly have the bank to do

USB has always been very well behaved like that for me as well. The USB controller passes from host to guest and back seamlessly and with no fuss. If you want to pass through more involved stuff like a GPU, then yes you will need to blacklist it from the host very often, though I remember seeing people managing to gracefully hand GPUs back and forth too (but I don't think it's as seamless as with USB controllers).
>>
>>107726158
something like this is more than powerful enough, but then again, it's a shitty chinese brand, so do you trust them with the security of your network? I've read reviews and the quality of the unit can be shit, plus chinese products are known for having malware. Some dude had a chinese Roomba and he later found out the thing was sending back GB's of data back to China everyday.

https://www.amazon.com/Lake-%CE%9D95-Threads-Computers-Bluetooth-Business/dp/B0FR1H7GFT

Something like this but non-chinese will cost you twice as much
>>
>>107722865
It's a hit or miss
The USB3 controller on mine doesn't state reset support so I never passed it through (used the USB2 controller instead). Good for you that it worked though.
Same deal for GPUs, I just unload the driver before starting the VM. Works until it doesn't.

as simple as, it's really all there is to it.

firefox is a 5-engineer project that can be done anywhere in the world, firefox would be infinitely better if it did not have the shitty ngo and the for-profit over its head.
both orgs are designed to funnel money into execs salaries who conveniently live in one of the priciest place on the planet while the fucking software they're responsible of are dying and lack actual funding...
you can't make this up, it's the same shit as what is happening with the somalians in MN or the high-speed train in cucklifornia except it's with google money.
the new ceo fo the for-profit already proved that he was out-of-touch and won't do what is necessary to save firefox so it's fucking doomed already.

Many political strategists believe the optimal window for China to annex Taiwan is around 2026-2027. Perhaps Sam Altman had prior knowledge which lead to his decision to order 40% of the global RAM supply (raw, uncut wafers that can be warehoused) in preparation of the enviable. As this order is being fulfilled tech companies will be forced to develop non-Taiwanese supply chains immediately. In the end result OpenAI would have the world's largest reserve of critical AI infrastructure components.

It isn't about typing speed. It's about the browsing experience of 4chan. And not having to install 10 million userscripts and just having 1 app that does it ALL. For example: saving bookmarks, saving attachments, converting attachments, notifying you for (You)'s, saving/downloading threads, having different themes, etc etc. There's much more and I'm confident other anons can fill the gaps. Shitposting without kuraboex is the mongoloid thing in reality.
