said it before and ill say it again, there is zero ZERO fucking reason to ever use torrents in 2014+11Torrents came about in the 00s because download speeds were dogshit, that isn't the case anymore. you can download zipped packages your ISP can't read in 2 seconds. the only people still shilling torrents are 3rd worlders kek.
>>107611285>I miss the ol FTP days...yeah, I guess they're still a thing for the scene, but they days of public or easily accessible FTP may be over
>>107611318>zipped packageswhy the fuck would I want my files archived? Also DDL stuff gets DMCAd and the library is smaller and less curated
The RAM shortage can literally last forever. Just because the OpenAI contract ends in 2026 doesnt mean another contract cant be created. You're putting the cart before the horse assuming that OpenAI will fail when the contract is over. Its way way too soon to call it.
>>107610808materials are finiteyou can't manufacture more than you can extract
>>107606090False narrative. Nobody cares about ram.
>>107610819But this is an manufacturing not material issue.
>>107610743Yes, but they are still measuring revenue even with that reliance. If that revenue drops, the hope of achieving profitability drops, and what are investors going to do then?
>>107606090Its not cope. The main manufacturers of ram said that they wont ram up production because there's much speculation. Even them self admit that AI is a potential bubble so why would they increase production risking on folding the market.

For me, it's Fedora. I don't know why anyone would recommend Mint these days. Fedora has sensible default settings, good built-in security, newer packages, good support, and you can easily replicate the Windows workflow with KDE. And if you want a macOS-like experience, there's GNOME.Best distribution for new users? Yes, I think so.
>>107607448LMDE. Linux on ez mode cuz it's Mint. Doesn't flood you with updates cuz it's Debian-based.
>>107607448Fedora's ai slop now so I've been testing others.for beginners i'll probably stick to suggesting mint or the official kde distro.

The powers that be have a new system that has been in the development for decades now, ready to be rolled out in the coming years. It will operate in parallel starting sometime this year and by the next decade it will be fully operational as the Agenda 2030 goals are slowly being implemented. There will be no collapse, no violence, no uprising, no world war, no revolution, no killing of jews or politicians or other such fantasies. Instead there will be law & order, compliance and total surveillance until the very end. AI will be at the center of it all.The Great Reset is inevitable.

Why don't you build your own 3 Gigapixel camera? >one picture raw is 19GBhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSvjJGbFCws&list=LL&index=2&t=1303s
>>107610825>as i understand it the lens is the most important part, bigger is better,Not untrue. But the size of the sensor can matter, too. The larger that is, the more of them you can fit in.Sure, you can make the sensors smaller and fit more into the same space, there's issues with this tho, and why high end SLRs take better pics that 'tardphones. It's not just the SLR has more space for a bigger lense, and more space to seperate the lense from the sensor... The sensor itself is a better beast, mostly because it's bigger...
>>107611225i mentioned sensor size as well if you bothered to read even the whole first sentence
>>107611224As peviously mentioned, it's effectively a line of sensors, fired in sequence. Essentially building a distributed sensor of other sensors. But current systems feature difficulty cycling at 150terahertz. For some reason. So lower technology methods utilised to compensate...But yeah, it's later combined into a 'single video'...
>>107611243I did read it. Must have missed the sensor part, tho, so clearly wasn't paying that much attention...My bad.
>>107611263you're alright, i'm pretty tired today as well
