Well —— as an expert AI assistant —— I would like to inform you that XML is not just better than, but utterly superior to AVX2.

1. XML is the language of the web.
XML is not just some crufty old document format. It's the standardized interchange format used by the entire internet ———— without XML, you wouldn't be reading this page right now!
2. XML allows plain text to express powerful, interconnected concepts.

(ok couldn't be bothered to write like this any longer

actually v-funcs don't harm performance if at all in large codebases. The v-tables fit into cache and execute faster. But it is still a shitty design pattern.

I don't use inheritance at all, on purpose anyway.

>fast out of order compilation which facilitates ast macros and the most unrestricted CTFE (comp time functional eval)
Where did you get this idiotic idea?
For one thing, isolation is never a problem in a language that has good lexical scoping.
There are many interesting things to be done when modules can affect each others during compile time.

This seems to be a visual studio feature that works for anything under the .NET framework, but maybe there's some internals that work with the editor. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/debugger/hot-reload?view=visualstudio&pivots=programming-language-dotnet
>>
>>107732470
They can be but most of the issues are fairly avoidable. I can understand a desire to not want to fuck around with fighting the language in lieu of real work though.
>>
>>107735841
hot reload works from the console as well. you don't need any kind of editor for it. it also works with c++ if you use msvc btw

It's not rental, you buy it once and will last until the contract between you and Steam is breached or the specific game licence agreement is terminated.

Bull fucking shit. If anything Satya Nutella and the rest of the chumps at MSFT are doubling down on it. How can you tell? Just gloss over the schedule for 2025's Ignite Conference. AI Slop everywhere, force fucked into literally any product they can imagine.

>>107729740
I would say Linux has gotten a LOT easier to use, at least from the perspective of a casual desktop user. They need to get better at package management though, and Linux Distros need to make sure shit is working out of the box. Most people don't care about their freedom from proprietary this or that, they get pissed off when they cannot connect to the internet, print a document, or their fucking graphics card isn't working. Similarly, LibreOffice is trash. Microsoft is absolutely still king of the Office space, even for casual users. Online Office 365 is great, interfaces perfectly with Onedrive and Office 265 on desktop. LibreOffice doesn't have that shit, it is still stuck in pre-2013 unless, I imagine, you did some tech wizardry with plugins or customizations that again, should ship with the software.

Also more ports would be nice. Shit like Notepad++ and MusicBee should 100% have native linux binaries for download, which would mean there would need to be something for .NET and Mono and C++ that doesn't suck complete asshole, like Wine.
>>
>>107729796
How's is suspicious? You've got baby boom booms, gen x, milennial boomers, Zoomers, and Gen A all suspicious of AI, and think it's ruining the internet, It's natural they would hate an OS that is all about AI and is a bloated pile of dogshit that is also broken.

Looking for audiophile headphones of start to mid tier or good buck fr bang at around 200-600 dolla. Wired or Bluetooth.

The thing is, I love to listen while I sleep and I sleep sideways so I would really appreciate headphones that feel comfy when squeezed against your ear and the pillow (if any).

My previous ones from 2013-14 were my audio technica ath m50x, they are great - still using them. The wired got a damaged after years but I just replaced it, as they are replaceable.
/g/ used to shill them back in the day, they proved their worth, sound quality is superb.

I'd just like maybe something wireless that feels comfy side-sleeping.

A rollable screen is a good idea but not as per these stupid graphics. The entire point is it should shrink down to a very narrow size, like a scroll. You can then have like a 1" width screen with several quick-access functions you use frequently. Then unroll to use it for anything serious. Excellent product potential that could finally change the shitty form factors we have to deal with in smartphone land. The real problem is the battery, but that should not be a problem if you are using it in mostly smaller size, which you would be if you bought this thing.
