If you want to look at hdr wallpapers on your new oled monitor

The image slider comparisons often seem kinda misleading somehow. Im not sure if its like they took an sdr image and processed it to be hdr afterwards using ai or something.

Ask any AI hater to explain what's happening in this picture and watch them go quiet and then start repeating some nonsense marxist talking points they've memorized.

But you can give him arbitrary material in one language, without needing to worry about whether it's specifically covered in his book, and get a reliable instant high-quality translation. It's hard to distinguish his translation from one written by a bilingual person.
From a philosophical point of view, it's still interesting to argue about the difference. But if you just need to translate a bunch of shit then it's hard to see why you would care.
The man appears to "know" Chinese for all practical purposes, and his services are much cheaper and quicker than those of the bilingual guy.

It's funny how lefties only started hating Twitter once it stopped being their personal echo chamber that gave them an inexplicable amount of control over policy.
The moment competing ideas were allowed, they discovered what we already knew. That without censorship, online forums naturally trend toward the right because it's the natural state of things.
Leftism requires strict curation and is a forced state of mind that is counter to joy and peace. It's why leftists can't meme.
It also closed lefties tap of infinite cp, which they rely on so much they created a new forum with the sole purpose of sharing it under the guise of fighting fascism.
Truly fascinating behavior.

Until AV1 stops killing small details even from low bitrate H264 then it's still worthless to me. It's going to forever be just for animemes.

i think this is far more fun than watching the empire slowly decay, don't you?
i think people should maintain a healthy detachment from what we're seeing - there's no need to take these things personally.
just marvel at the capitalist machinery enabling all this
breathe in the strange, simultaneous, mix of techno optimism and doomerism - maybe this is what things were like at the beginnings of internet and computing. look at how interestingly those turned out and the nightmares and dreams they've created.
all of this is amazing, and there's nothing much any of can do, so just sit back and enjoy the show.

It is still a slow decay.
Putting tons of money into chatbots isn't going to cause a rapid crash, the bubble can't burst, because the USA as a whole is that bubble. The country will just impoverish slowly, as the whole economy needs to be focused on chat bots.
And as it loses its relevance at the world stage, it will turtle in with its vassals.
It will be a prolonged collective delusion maintained by media and shill bots. And as long as no outside force triggers a collapse, it could take a very long time, like 50 years of poverty.
>>
>>107685652
oh sure, any decline scenario will take a long time to play out. people love collapse fantasies - iirc the communists in germany were convinced the end of capitalism was neigh so they just sat around and didn't do much - and who could blame them? hyperinflation? the great depression? but in the end, never underestimate capital.
i do think these things will revolutionise war along the way tho - the thing about conflict is that you don't actually need your software to be perfect - a suicide drone swarm accidentally evaporating a yemeni wedding party is just training data

What's the dumbest thing you ever did to your computer anons? Obviously we all know much better now, but I know you've got a story tucked away somewhere about that time you deleted system32 because that nice internet man told you it would make your computer run faster. Or that time you removed the french language pack after getting your shiny new Ubuntu install up and running. Hit me with 'em, let's have a laugh and relive the days when we had to get the family PC running again before dad got back from work.

First time on Windows 95 operating system, have no clue what to be doing other than double clicking into directories. Went into the system32 folder and began to click on everything randomly until something opened. I had no idea what to do and no concept of how any of it worked until I could no longer boot probably because I deleted some boot files. It was at that point I began to research how to reinstall windows. Imagine trying to understand what an ISO file is at my level. It wasn't easy but my stubbornness won in the end.
>>
>>107681970
bumpity

Any version of Windows since 1995 has been more polished, production-ready and user-friendly than any Linux distro ever made. That's obvious to anybody who has installed both of them on the same machine.

Are Linux users just lying about their distros being a better experience than a Windows installation?

this is such a meme, you only get a second class experience if you need gpu virtualization on vm (like with virtio). normal usage nvidia is 100% fine, and most ai sloppa is still nvidia only (basically everything except llm inference and some image gen)

No one gives a shit if a game or program is 99% AI code, but if any part of the front end is touched by AI it's time to riot.

Far more people's jobs are at risk from AI language related tasks but the entire anti ai movement is based on shitty twitter artists doodles

That's not true, people don't want to play vibe coded video games, people don't like vibe coded software, and why do you think that is? It's because vibe coded software barely works half the time and is made by people who have no fucking idea what they're doing. You just posted a made up narrative as a subtle divide and conquer attempt to get people to side with AI corporations, because you need public sentiment to be high when it comes to your eventual public bailout, courtesy of the taxpaying public.
