Why is it that every piece of GNOME software ever produced. Is utter dogshit?

Retard, I would need to intentionally expose and port-forward ports to do that.
My system is a fucking desktop. It's not a server.
Try to hack me, moron.
Security is "sold" to people that have no clue that you can't just hack a computer over the network. You need to hack my router first.
Instead of securing a desktop, secure your firewall/router.

absolutely based take. Is there a way toward this? Seems difficult in current year. In-kernel GUI would have changed everything if we had it from the inception of Linux.

yeah this is why I avoid anything made by canonical or the gnome people, it's always dogshitware that does not work and fixes take forever to get merged.
we ditched ubuntu at work because of this, it's debian + kde now and it's been very smooth ever since.

ohh. From ld(1):

That makes a lot of sense - I got much the same using those linker options.

Did a partial compilation via -c on gcc, then linked with lld as suggested by >>107574841 then stripped it, getting down to just 1112 bytes. Can do the same by just replacing gcc with clang in the overall command invocation; you get an even smaller output. Doing it with gcc gets you to 1192 bytes.
>>
>>107574925
I get 944 bytes with these options on GCC:
cc -static -masm=intel -nolibc -nostdlib PrtF.c.c -o nolibc.out -fno-ident -fno-asynchronous-unwind-tables -s -Os -Wl,-n

I did have to replace the "inline" keyword with "static" to fix linker errors when using -Os.
https://www.reddit.com/r/C_Programming/comments/wdag9l/how_to_absolutely_minimize_the_executable/iiiagce/
>>
>>107574955
>fno-ident -fno-asynchronous-unwind-tables
ooo I need to read into these options further, I get the -Os though.

Doing it with clang gets me 712 bytes for the output:
clang -s -Os -static -fno-ident -fno-asynchronous-unwind-tables -masm=intel -nolibc -nostdlib -Wl,-n -o nolibc.out nolibc.c
>>
>>107575016
(this is w/o having to set those inline functions to static, but I did anyway cos it didn't hurt when testing the GCC version)

Ever read the V for Vendetta comics? The dictator Adam Susan was so retarded he fell in love with basically an LLM hooked up to CCTV cameras manipulated by V which is why he's completely useless in the movie and comics. Every fucking day we are stepping closer to that fucking comic and movie adaptation becoming a documentary instead of a dystopian piece of fiction.

Data is one of the most mature uses of ML. Every time you ever heard of "big data" you were hearing about AI, and there aren't any new technologies that make what they are doing easier, they already maxed it out almost a decade ago. It predates LLM chatbots by almost a decade and chatbots won't make what they are doing any better. In other words you are wrong and you're stupid. Stop listening to sam altman and watching fearmongering youtube videos.

do you want a humidifier or an evaporative cooling unit? there is always nice and expensive humidifiers available for sale at any nearby electronics store, just google it. Don't use google btw, they gimped their search engine to make you use the AI, use duckduckgo, it does both.

I’m looking for something portable to use in my office or in the backyard. The humidifier function sounds interesting, and I’ve seen videos of people putting ice and cold water in the top compartment to help with cooling. On paper, this product seems great, I just wish it actually worked well in real life.
