Reminder of the following:

1. Google will merge ChromeOS and Android to form a FOSS Linux-based desktop OS that will be 100% free to download and use.

https://www.androidauthority.com/aluminium-os-android-for-pcs-3619092/

2. Windows will be severely affected by this new, totally free competitor and will bleed marketshare.

3. All existing Linux desktop environments will be totally outclassed by Google's top secret desktop UI and underlying OS. Even Linux users will give up on shit like Mint and just use Google's desktop for their daily driver OS.

2026 will finally be the year of the Linux desktop, and it will be because Google will do to desktops what they did to phones.

You know it's coming. Don't act like this was a surprise.

Does the monitors EDID correctly advertise its supported frame rates? Usually this is nothing to do with drivers it's just Linux being extra strict about only enabling supported modes. You can still manually add custom modes to Xorg.conf (won't work for the experimental Wayland session though and since the Mint Devs are shit at building a compositor the only option there is making a custom EDID and passing it to the kernel command line).

I've set it up to read zfs key from tpm secret. had to write my own dracut module to read it and added it to zfsbootmenu.
it's good but zfsbootmenu doesn't have an option to disable the command line so someone could just time it right to get the keys out of they had physical access.

holy shit this is so fucking true
this + the countless amount of jewish people that gave me shit in my life cause me to develop an extreme hatred towards them in a matter of months

I would think back to all the "white" people that fucked me over or did serious asshole shit towards me. Turns out they weren't white, they were Jewish.

I'd go back and google their last names and surely enough, Jews. So i started letting the Jews know how I felt about them, and I had to do 3 years in prison for cyberharassment due to my antisemitic statements.

Now that I'm free I'm still very much a noticer, I just keep quiet about it. Also it's annoying that most fellow noticers are racist or christian idiots.

But there's only so much manual labor people can do. Are we going back to building ziggurats and pyramids, this time because there will be not enough manual labor demand for all dislocated workers?
>>
>>107690192
I mean in such a hypothetical most people would probably be working on building data centers for Grok v2973 (they moved to a daily release schedule after it started improving itself) or something like that. The vast majority of human labor would be spent on just building out more infrastructure for a better AI. Though it's hard for me to conceive of a scenario where it's still not feasible to automate hard labor after Grok 20 or something.

Government. The turnover rate isn't high and the pay is normal, as always in the sector, but we always need at least like 60 people in my job at any given time. If it gets lower, then work will start piling up. And there are always people around 4 people training new people and around 5 people training helping the mediors throughout the entire year.

>/g/ makes a 19th album
Theme: [Accepting suggestions]

>Song submission rules/guidelines
Upload the file somewhere, preferably in a lossless format, and post the link here. If you want to update your track, make a new post.
Include the song title in the post, and make it clear that your song is a submission for the album.
Optionally you may include cover art for your track, but please confirm that the image in your post is the cover art or it won't be included. You may not use your real artist name.
Songs that contain anything against YouTube's policies won't be uploaded on YT, but will still be added to the album.
By default, tracks will be normalised to -14 LUFS (integrated loudness) in the release. You may specify a lower loudness for your track.
Use of AI is banned. This includes AI generated stems, samples, and effects. "AI" includes all neural network-based models and not hard-coded automation/procedural generation. You are allowed to ask an LLM about music-related questions, but asking it to give you musical ideas (eg. generating a chord progression) is already a no-no.

empty pcb is literally an oxymoron.
it stands for PRINTED cicuit board, it literally cant be empty.
from its creation its made with a specific smd placements
>>
>>107689675
>empty
empty of components, asshat
>>
>>107677544
>>107689675
"Empty" likely means no components but the footprints and solder points exist.
DRAM packages are standardized per JEDEC specifications.
You can design and order PCBs meant specifically for DDR4/DDR5 and solder any available DRAM
>>
>>107677544
This is viable if you are a neet with too much time but if you have a decent job the time it takes you to make these, you could buy 5 RAM sticks from the money you make.
