How so?
In any case, loudnorm doesn't have many parameters to play with. Increase i if you want to increase average loudness, maximum is -5. Lower lra if you want to make loudness more uniform, minimum is 1. Set tp to the maximum of 0, since setting it lower is mostly just autistic precaution.

iirc all neuromancer predicted is ais will be very strange when compared to humans. wintermute acts kind of like a modern LLM given different/changing system prompts.

neuromancer itself is more odd and is meant to represent a simulated human mind which is something we're still very far from. to use a computing analogy intel 4004 (1971) had 2300 transistors which is roughly analogous to current neuralink BCI chips having ~1000 usable electrodes. modern GPUs running LLMs have ~200,000,000,000 transistors which is the kind of scaling we'd need with BCIs to achieve neuromancer-level sampling of the human brain

its not really how it's described, this is how gibson visualized it with 1995 (Johnny Mnemonic ) CGI i think this fits the neuromancer description more

Something shorted on my HD and the partition data is gone. The data is all there. I normally use minitool for lightweight crap like formatting and changing letters or managing ext4 on windows, and it have a tool to do partition retrieval but I got paywalled. I'm failing to pirate it too. Can you guys point me the way for a free tool that if not rewrites the partition, at least retrieves the data? Preferable windows, but I can deal with linux too. Please and thank you, happy new year

I just wanted (You) to know that I specifically go to this thread to see content like this. Bless

I'm attempting to make a lure in FreeCAD. Whenever I move b spline control points, the knots move with it. If I constrain the locations of the knots, all control points drastically change position (out of viewing area) if I just move one control point.

Are splines just broken in FreeCAD? I might just use Fusion 360. FreeCAD is unusable.

So I just need to do basic tasks like listen to music, stream video, and browse basic websites. Is installing windows 2000 a bad idea? How fucked will I be for drivers?

The reason I want to do this for one, it's botnet free, and two it was the most streamlined of classic operating systems. I really have a boner for Windows 2000 and I just want to know if it's even moderately viable to use in this day and age.

What, like on modern hardware? You will almost certainly have no driver support whatsoever and I don't think Win 2000 even has a 64b version, which would mean you're going to be limited to <4GB usable RAM. That wouldn't be completely unusable for a modern browser, but it's tight, assuming you can even get a modern browser capable of displaying the modern web properly.
