Oh my God why is this piece of shit so slow and useless I just want you sort a folder with 10k files by date created and it's already loading for 40 minutes, the same task literally takes 2 seconds on Linux WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY DOING

Yeah I once told windows to sort a folder with 2000+ images by date modified and it took 30+ minutes and then grouped them by type and it undid the sorting by date and sorted them by type WHIlE ALSO GROUPING THEM
So afterwards I had to /re/-sort them by date modified and it took another 30 fucking minutes.

It's true. This narrative of "Europe sent its military to help the US" breaks apart when you realize Europe has no military outside of a band and some admirals.

You know as well as I do that nobody is taking a free iphone home. It was not cheap, it was affordable, but not to some jeet or bug, the kind of people who ruin the internet.

>>107688007
>none of this shit matters, we're living in a duopoly hellhole where our devices aren't ours anymore

Partially agree, partially not. I still own my iphone. I still have the images saved to my homeserver. I still have music saved locally. It tries to scam me into apple music and such, but I don't have reason to as they don't have some of the doom metal not to mention NSBM like m8l8th simply doesn't exist there.

>they also have too much control over software delivery, they can literally kill any business they want just by removing any software from their store

This is a good thing as it makes room for something alternative to what we have now with the duopoly. In the end, we want a more niche option but this is not going to appeal to anyone casual. It won't even appeal to me as I'm pretty happy with my 15 Pro right now. I wouldn't change much with it.

>Partially agree, partially not. I still own my iphone
yeah but apple can unilaterally remotely disable it, uninstall whatever they want and change settings whenever they want.
>I still have the images saved to my homeserver. I still have music saved locally. It tries to scam me into apple music and such, but I don't have reason to as they don't have some of the doom metal not to mention NSBM like m8l8th simply doesn't exist there.
that's all good as long as the iphone is "disposable" as in you're not locked-in the ecosystem.
>This is a good thing as it makes room for something alternative to what we have now with the duopoly
not really, market capture is real, it's impossible for businesses to live without their app on the appstore of both
>In the end, we want a more niche option but this is not going to appeal to anyone casual.
and apple/google are activelly making it harder/scarier to use such alt store, see the current apple shitshow in japan
>It won't even appeal to me as I'm pretty happy with my 15 Pro right now. I wouldn't change much with it.
15yo could just install any software from any sources 15 years ago, now it's either from the appstore or the playstore, they even managed to create the word sideload as if isntalling something from outside the sotres is something weird that you should not normally do.
these two ecosystems put people to sleep, conveniency in an arrow-must-go-up world is ALWAYS at the expense of the user.

the tank-somthing method (I forgot the name): you only need to sample at random 1000 points and the solution converges super fast

- security is a meme
- it got better with SP2 and SP3 and was stable
- just have your drivers stored somewhere bundled as a set and zipped somewhere, so you don't need to look for them like a retard (as everyone with above room temperature iq did)
- cmd was garbage and is still garbage no matter the version of the OS so nothing has changed - conhost didn't improve anything, it's still garbage

Kek imagine all the "retro" Windows 10/11 rgb builds we're gonna see in the future, It's bizarre enough seeing Vista era retro builds because that's my era and it looks like a regular ass computer still.
>>

>>
>>107688049
Not only was it wacky, but it was actually quite bloated if you had kind of an older computer for the time, most people who had like a P4 and then went to vista would think vista was bloated, but someone who had like Windows 98 or something would think XP is bloated as fuck, it was noticeably slower compared to the classic theme of Windows, that's why Windows 7 seems to run so much faster when you put it in classic mode, you're not using precious CPU cycles to draw all this necessary shit when they could be used for whatever the fuck is is you're currently doing.

Linux and FOSS are actually mostly used by political right and countries that do not follow or care about your tiny woke bubble where you cry about how "Linux is woke".

>the Linux kernel or FOSS software itself does not enforce a CoC in its code, only in its community processes (like mailing lists)
>you can create your own forks with your own community processes (like mailing lists) to enforce your own CoC or not have it (and it is equal to that original, not less important)
>you can compile, modify, and distribute any version of the kernel without ever agreeing to a CoC
>GPL gives you the legal right to fork Linux, remove what you don't like, and redistribute it, no permission needed
>China, a one-party authoritarian state, uses Linux extensively without adopting Western social values
>North Korea runs a Linux-based OS in total isolation from global “woke” culture
>Russia, Iran, and others do the same

If these regimes can use Linux while rejecting Western liberalism, so can you. You don't need permission to run Linux. You just need to compile it.

Internet regulation is good and necessary and the main reason is to protect children, this is especially true for porn as unmoderated porn will lead to CSAM and revenge porn slipping through, now you understand why the great porn purge of 2020 was a GOOD thing and should be done universally, its an unpopular opinion here but the internet must be regulated with an iron fist for the greater good.

Despite any implementation or security flaws it may have I still think it's better than nothing. It's at least unpalatable enough to scare off a good portion of normies who won't bother with things like using a VPN.

A little bit of revenge porn and CP is an acceptable cost for an unrestricted Internet.

But just for one year, then you get shot and we get another moderator.
How about it? you do whatever you want with the internet, but you die.
