What does it do? Can't find in OP and google doesn't really explain shit either.
>>
>>107663693
Lumina is too random or unpredictable to do the standard post generation cleanup that people rely on with SDXL. It's impossible to reliably fix common generation issues like hiresfix, correcting hands and faces, or removing extra limbs through inpainting.
>>
>>107663746
Well, maybe if the model itself is great, people might find workarounds to fix stuff. Or you're saying it can't even do reasonable img2img upscales?
>>
>>107663801
It can but the results aren't going to be deterministically better.

Dumass you need to tell it to stop being retarded and beating around the bush and give you the answer in a simple form after having asked it the same shit 10+ times. They probably coded it to waste queries/time.

I'm european, so we had christmas yesterday evening not today and I gave my nieces the RC cars I got in >>107333213
At first they were lukewarm about them (they are girls and they were overly hyperactive as kids tend to be during christmas) but when things calmed down and they had unpacked all the presents, all three of them started playing with them and were very happy about them. Even this morning they still played with them first thing in the morning.
So a good gift it turns out, nice.
The wooden animals I got for the youngest were also well received.
Another year of successful aliexpress gifting.

>>107663329
C++ is talmud
>>
>>107663329
Hm well C++ is nearly but not exactly a superset of C that uses its ideas but ultimately takes them in a different more generalist direction influenced by many other languages. And it's obsessed with fulfilling certain promises of C what with the idea that you should be able to exactly implement "int" in user code without acknowledging that that really isn't what the designers of C had in mind kind of like the gospels' (particularly Matthew's) obsession with Old Testament prophecies.
Rust meanwhile acknowledges the fundamental validity and importance of C, making effort to support compatible pointers and struct layouts and untagged unions and C strings and all that, but really doesn't care about the exact syntax of C code (meaning it can't even process C headers directly) which is a little bit like how Muslims don't care as much about the Tawrāt as Christians do about the Old Testament even though they still like Moses and so on. And you can tell that there's a ton of influence from C++ but Rust makes even fewer allowances for actual compatibility with C++ than with C.
So there's something to it but I don't know if this is actually a helpful way to explain it.

>>107663500
The Talmud is GCC and clang and the ISO C standard. Pointer provenance and out-of-thin-air values are fundamentally exegetical.

Rust is about trannies and their rights.

why are so many programming "help" groups like this? like, somebody will specifically opt into helping people, and then get frustrated when they dont do exactly what they expect. it constantly feels like im testing everyone's patience whenever i ask for help and its even harder trying to just learn everything myself, especially considering all the weird semantic differences in both the language itself and guides.

like i can imagine a full script in my head but i wouldnt know how to translate it into the language im currently using. and on the offchance that i *do* get the help needed, usually its just "oh just use the blah function", so its not like i just Dont Know How To Code or anything i just dont know the shit thats specific to the engine, and its not like i can just look it up in a glossary or something because the words can be totally different from language to language, like how "object" in one language can be "entity" in another, and object in *that* language refers to an object in an array or something, so theres just a huge language gap that i cant really cross without the help of others, which sucks because working with others sucks

IDK man, this typically boils down to RTFM. If you truly know what you want to write and how to express it in one type of code, then you will be able to build the translation by reading the manuals and examples from the other code.
Your comic is also probably over-abstracting. Especially if you are a beginner, quantifying method A and B and then comparing their value as equal is usually going to be incorrect, and method B will probably be materially incorrect for reasons that would take too long to explain. People can also be assholes too. Hard to say what's happening without specifics.

This anon didn't phrase it in the nicest way but the core logic is the. The amount of juniors I've seen go off and do entire things completely different to we do then with no defensible reason is actually insane. It genuinely pisses me off when I tell them "we basically already do this in module X so just go look at that and adjust it as necessary" and then they don't do anything like it at all. Doing something differently is not necessarily bad but you better be able to defend your decisions under peer review

sure, but that's not what you said in the OP:
>what's the bet this is where steam deck is getting its memory from
either that or my ESL ass completely misunderstood what you said. but I clearly see "STEAM DECK" there, and nothing related to servers.
>>
>>107660847
fucking hell. here's how reality works.
1. steam deck is a product to be made by valve
2. the client is said to concetrate on servers
3. as a company, valve, because of steam, concentrates on servers. their core business is server-based infrastructure.

can you work out the next step for yourself or do i have to hold your fucking hand some more.
>>
>>107660932
ok, maybe. the article doesn't actually say anything about server memory or some cloud company or whatever.
valve does concentrate on making gaymes, though (or used to, I guess kek). running game servers is not difficult at all AFAIK.

Python, one of the very few modern & popular programming languages not owned by big tech, is now begging hard for money at python.org (picrel), Wikipedia style.

This comes after the PSF rejected an US government grant because the PSF can't stop shilling for DEI: https://developers.slashdot.org/story/25/10/28/211237/python-foundation-rejects-government-grant-over-dei-restrictions
The same PSF then reported a surge of new donators following the above rejection: https://developers.slashdot.org/story/25/11/09/2017240/python-foundation-donations-surge-after-rejecting-grant---but-sponsorships-still-needed
Yet, they are now begging for money, using a big, intrusive and cringe banner at python.org, kek.

This is what your donated money is used for: https://www.python.org/psf/grants
>Conferences (e.g. PyCon Italia)
>Event site subscriptions (Meetup.com) (e.g. London Django Meetup)
>Django Girls Workshops (e.g. Django Girls Busan Workshop)
>PyLadies Workshops (e.g. All Day PyLadies Workshop)

These faggots have a whole page dedicated to their DEI philosophy: https://www.python.org/community/diversity
Their Libera Chat #python IRC channel is filled to the brim with trannies (they/them and she/her pronouns set as their IRC name).

It's nearly impossible to steal those projects from under the wings of big tech, this is why even microsoft is doing FOSS these days.
They have all the resources to fuck you up while they also have all the resources to hire developers and heavily market their own FOSS (or pseudo FOSS) products.

E.g. even with chromium browsers promising ungoogled software, it's still google that dictates the design choices of chromium through chrome and the chrome web store.

bsky is a lazy grift
Chinese knockoff ui of twitter, fake claims to being federated when actually federating is expensive, difficult and very easy to censor, terrible moderation, terrible frontend (that doesn't even use their own atproto spec), laughable feature parity (images are still shit quality and thats saying something in comparison to twitter), and an absolutely reprehensible community filled with reactionary politics (I guess it makes sense since the only people who'd move are people who react violently to tabloid politics)
