honestly speaking i prefer the bsd/mac os way of not depending on the ABI like Linux because of GPL, it seems to produce better/stabler user space, i think from the point of view of the user is much better (and one of the reasons why Linus criticises glibc)but then you have to pay the costs of a non-free software space tooif glibc, ui libs, etc in linux paid more attention for not breaking things, it'd be better than mac desu

>there are people who still use BIOS over UEFI and turn off secure boot in the year 2025 on this boardWhat the fuck is your problem?UEFI/GPT has been the standard for a decade. UEFI supports larger drives, boots faster because UEFI runs in 32/64-bit mode rather than 16-bit mode, handles initializing multiple hardware devices during boot better than BIOS/MBR, and supports modern hardware better than BIOS/MBR in general. Unless you have an ancient computer, it is almost certainly UEFI/GPT OTB. I can't think of a reason to use BIOS/MBR if your computer supports UEFI/GPT.

>>107628568>>107631263I found the whole EFI entries thing annoying too, so I simply don't bother with them anymore, put my bootloader in /EFI/BOOT/BOOTX64.EFI and just point my firmware to it.
>>107643096In my case the bootloader is on a USB drive, so I just set my boot priority to USB and it finds it without having to explicitly point to anything or having any EFI entries, because it's the only bootable USB drive that it can detect. I'm not sure if you can do the same if you're dual booting from two internal drives, unless GRUB happens to always take precedence in boot order. That's why in my case:>Boot priority: USB Drive -> SSD>USB plugged in = Linux boots>USB unplugged = Windows boots
>>107622470>2025+1>not using Open FirmwareNGMI
>>107622470>>there are people who still use BIOS over UEFI and turn off secure boot in the year 2025 on this boardBecause they are brainlets. This requires them to actually learn the changes made, anyways for me there was no option to disable secure boot, and the only other option is to use CSM, which is bios emulation. I have gotten used to the way UEFI works so there is not really a reason to "go back".

>>107642210why are you adding a valve amp
>>107642215My dad keeps going on about how great they are. Can't borrow his because I live far away.
>>107632402so i kept messing with this to see what the issue was and it seems it's something with the usb connection. If the dac is off but connected to my amp the problem is still there, but if i pull the usb it goes away. I don't have this issue with my apple dongle so i'm not sure if this is a faulty unit or just the way these are, regardless it's pretty lame. Noise kind of sounds like a ground loop or something similar, i've heard others mention balanced dacs to prevent ground loop problems, i assume this is why?
All headphones suck
>>107642491>ground loopCould be. You could try whether an USB isolator (e.g. JDS Synapse) resolves the issue.

Hello anons, I wish to figure out how to use AI, to- Make my friends naked, kiss or jerk eachother off. This is for funsie reasons, of course. I am just at a lost on finding knowledge over this if I could get some help. I have an AMD RX 7700 XT (I do not mind waiting for hours) and use comfyUI, I wish to if this can be done with comfyUI and if so what nodes, checkpoints or models to use? Thank you in advance.
>for funsie reasonssuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure...
>>107643712Of course, because I am not gay.
>>107643699You should train your own model with images of you kissing and jerking them off first. Also, you should post them here so we can help with the metadata tagging.
>>107643735Thank you for the reccomendation anon, however I fear I lack the resources and computing power for this and what I fear more is accidentally being gay doing this. If I become gay with this method, I will stop generating images of us kissing and cumming for funsies (because, that's the intention ofc.) and start generating images to get turned on. This would be suboptimal and ruin the original purpose which is, funsies.
>>107643782kissing your homies goodnight isn't gay anon
At what point did we start relying on AI too much?
Since op slurps semen out of buttfucked homeless niggers, can someone else who isnt a faggot upload the video
>>107639959>They did so much better before everypne had smartphone cameras and internet.>you now remember Ryan Fogle unshaven wearing a blonde wig and a baseball capMaybe it was always this way, but the nature of media changing was what exposed it.I know we meme on people getting dumber over time and crims are naturally dumb, but in some ways I think part of the reason the agencies appear so incompetent is that the crims are more vigilant, exposed to the most basic of evasion techniques having seen it play out in media constantly.Same with the CCTV angle, mass surveillance means people are more careful, and the agencies probably relied way too heavily on it in the past, newer investigators and operators are now the ones getting dumber over time as they start to rely on these tools instead of learning how to finesse it all.
>>107640309delete yourselfits simpler
>>107639688It's fine. We just need to raise the electricity bills by 200%, pay another 500 billion to openAI, cause a global recession, but at least Trump will be able to AI-generate fake evidence.
I know anon wants to a nigger but if they received the video during the investigation they are forced to add it to the files even if its not real a long they put "we received this video about the subject" same thing happened with protocols of zion files dump that had several letters from people asking for the fbi to research the protocols with extensive arguments about it, basically "it was on the research folder" kinda deal

I support this man and his browser.
>>107642095He will release his browser, it will be good, but then corporations will get behind him and fuck it up and turn ladybird into bloated shitware just like any browser, it's the lifecycle of most software with good intentions.Though, I doubt a browser can make a difference, the real problem is with the web and webpages using a fuckton of javascript.
