New version is out. Also, why was my previous thread deleted? This is a software-based application explicitly engineered for operation within the computational and telecommunications framework of a handheld mobile device, ok? It is therefore unambiguously situated within the broader domain of contemporary technological systems, infrastructures, and applied digital sciences, and as such relevant to /g/.

At my job (coding) these models are the first time I've actually felt like "vibecoding" is becoming a viable option for me for nontrivial tasks. And there is still a lot of research being done, new discoveries being made, which suggests we are not near the peak yet.I would be happy to be convinced otherwise but in the past few months i've become pretty blackpilled for the first time on the consequences of ai
Reddit is the best source of accurate up-to-date information
>>107695724Reddit has the Wiki problem: it requires autists online 24/7 to maintain current (not accurate) information while pruning outdated information and there's no reliable way to distinguish the two. It's an unreliable shitheap today. Stack Overflow has a better but still flawed approach.

Most of the people who post there are normies with no education or culture, so I advise you to take their information with a grain of salt.

back in the day, when I was a young student I went the whole nine yards playing with cyberpunk clothing. Goretex jackets, pants with straps leading nowhere, and a long weird list of accessories. After years assembling different outfits and fighting over the small sizes of clothes because all the shit came from China, I learned the best cyberpunk clothing has to comply with three basic requirements>real /cyb/ clothing has to be cheapThe /cyb/ spirit is about having a low life where you live with essential basics, you have to spend on clothing when it is an absolute necessity and not for a fashion statement. >everything you wear has to be made of good materials made to endure hard environments. the idea of the genre is that you wear based on pragmatics, the first thing it has to do is to protect you and be comfy>you have to feel natural inside the context you are in wearing your clothesartists like scarlxrd, that use techwear or cyberwear look good in front on the cameras with black parkas and wearing tactical vests on top of it, but if you try that kind of outfit in the real world, you are going to feel like a dark clown, it makes no sense to stand out unnecessarily and feel out of place and the most important lesson of allComment too long. Any actual good open source projects are funded by corporations. For example, Valve was a major contributor to the development of Proton, KEK!
>>107699475You haven't made a point and those two things aren't and don't even seem mutually exclusive, so I'm not even sure what the point of this post is.

just like the AI hype started after the blockchain hype died down, they're gonna find some new meme to keep GPUs expensive after the AI hype is over
>>107699596>we are running out of materials required to craft new GPU in large numbers
>>107699555most of them probably fear for their lives, being offered sums of money so large from the competition's headhunters but understanding that if nvidia finds out they've even been contacted by anyone that could be considered a hostile entity that they'll put the guy down themselves
>>107696032I think that's been the case pretty much since the beginning. There was a grace period at the very beginning when it was cool for a normie to draw something without any talent or write a blog post in two minutes. But people quickly realized that it was pointless and that it was actually full of errors and ugly. Literally no normie uses the AI tools available right now; they're only used by tech industries to sell shit sloppa. And the entire industry is artificially kept afloat by microsoft and google.
The steam frame is gonna cost like 700 dollars maybe more with the RAM issues going isn't it? The Quest 3 was being sold for 407+100 dollar in Amazon credit a week ago.

I use QubesOS with detached boot partition on 2 duplicated USB drives with any data that rests on the SSD/HDDs being encrypted with LUKS2. Whonix gateway is proxied through a VPN qube to hide Tor IPs (can't hide communication patterns) without bridges since bridge IPs can be farmed. Sometimes Tor through I2P outproxy or vice-versa or with different anonymizing network overlays. Clients used for browsing are only opened in on-RAM ephemeral qubes with no access to permanent storage. Attack surface is quite minimum since no extra things added like USB mouse and no PV qubes (aside from sys-usb and sys-net) are used for launching HVM qubes with qemu stub domains unless very necessary and every other qube on the system gets shut down first to keep information leakage minimum. A veracrypt volume with hidden storage on a permanent qube for data storage and plausible deniability.what's your setup like?
