>>
>>100070556
eh just grime or gross-ness. my previous one lasted several years and i wiped it clean occasionally. then i smelled the area where my wrist / arm sits around and it smelled like old sweat so i tossed it. now i have fresh chemical-ly chink scent

Yep. Though first time having issues with the filter. Could be a certain term I used since I had to guess what section had the issue and removed three posts

I'm talking about my personal filter list
For 4chans filters, possibly too many quotes in the op, might be better to do the news as a second post, multiple website links in the op can also do it. Or just specific words or phrases or website names. There is no way to view the sites filter list as then people could try to bypass it and as far as i know nobody has bothered to make a list of everything that is filtered.

I was planning to buy a SD card reader and a USB hub, but I happened upon a USB C sick that does both. The thing is, I'm mostly going to use this with my desktop which has no C, should I expect any problems from using a C to A adapter with this?
>>
>>100075961
You really shouldn't have any issues except for maybe slower file transfer if the adapter is cheap
>>
>>100076004
Any "good enough" brands for this sort of adapter?
>>
>>100076058
I wouldn't know but unless you are transferring big files it really shouldn't be that bad regardless of what you use
I used to have one that came free with some cheap cables I got on amazon and it wasn't painfully slow even when I moved movies around
>>
It feels kind of empty now that everything has arrived and there is no longer excitement looking in the mailbox hoping that my package(s) has arrived.
>>
Wtf was Chang thinking with the “new adress” thing in the app?
I moved so I wanted to enter my new address and it only lets me input my street, my province and my zip code, but not my town.
Town now is a list I can select from, which only contains major cities and districts (and a few random districts from other provinces, wtf?).
Is that some app bullshit, some Europe only problem or did Chang really decide that “123 Autism avenue, 98761 other” now is a valid address?

Yes, it says that I can enter it manually, but either I’m retarded or there’s aactually no option to do so.
Guess I’ll try on my desktop browser when I get home.
>>
>>100077861
You definitely can, I did. For me I had to select my bundesland / region as other and then I could enter the rest manually. If I select my region proper then I could only input my city as other. Chinks are fucking retarded.
>>
>>100078292
> For me I had to select my bundesland / region as other and then I could enter the rest manually. If I select my region proper then I could only input my city as other.
Danke, that did the trick.
But why, though? Didn’t even occur to me to select other for Bundesland, since they are all correct, why would I enter other there? For our colonies? Make Tsingtao be German again!

>>

That depends on jurisdiction. Aliexpress has to conform to the law in which it operates.

Because they are fucking retarded and never considered that the city / region database the unpaid intern found (or worse, wrote) in 2005 might not be 100% complete, and god forbid they would ever run an automated test to see whether the list is complete and up to date.

Pure Titanium™ glasses frame with prescription lenses have arrived.
It arrived in a hole on the center of an airbag cushion. Came in a cheap faux leather case.
Frame: $25 + $12 lenses. You can find much cheaper titanium frames but I was very picky.
Overall I'm very satisfied. This would cost around 8x the price in the shithole I'm in.
Tip: be careful with the dimensions of the frames if you are buying glasses online. Some are gigantic.

Basically just check the reviews of the prescription lenses that you are going to buy.
You buy frames and lenses from the same shop and add your measurements to the order note or send a message to the seller.
Check the links I posted above >>100080548 Each one of those shops should also be selling prescription lenses separately.
(If you want to use coins you probably don't have to add them to the cart together)

>>
>>100081694
You can check the weight and elasticity I guess, which is the main reason for titanium frames but I don't know.
I'm not sure if they are prohibited from lying about this but I have seen many frames with "titanium alloy" and "alloy" on the title and under the specifications like the link below. They could have just written "titanium" full stop but they aren't.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003021827479.html
Some other sellers have "pure titanium" on the title. And the frames themselves have β-Titanium or T-Titanium writings on the inside but who knows.
>>
now you tempted me to try an order a frame + prescription, I already bought frames and those were good, need to find a stylish one

check the global trade price for raw titanium and weigh the glasses to see if you're somehow getting it cheaper than what they pay for it by weight in bulk.
you're probably at worst getting spring steel with a titanium coating or something.

I would weigh and measure the volume with precision equipment. Titanium has a very high density.

I like to tether a spare laptop with my phone at work during slow hours. Can someone spoonfeed me a coily cable like this that's USB C to USB with 18W charging or above?

https://www.amazon.com/Charging-Coiled-Retractable-Android-Samsung/dp/B0CLP4QVDB

I'd grab this but they don't even list the wattage. It's also not a side-connector like Anker cables are, so the USB C would probably snap like a twig after a month.

I bought something from AliExpress that doesn't match the website description (it is powered by a 300W motor, not 800). Are they actually good about refunding in this case or should I just skip straight to charging back?
>>
>>100088917
Just open a dispute post evidence and see what happens. Assume the person reviewing the dispute wont even look at the listing so post a picture of the listing saying 800w motor, and then whatever picture evidence you have that it's actually 300w.
If it doesn't work then just do a chargeback.

Even with the included drivers and disabled autoupdates, such adapters often fail, and the unknown nature of the Prolific chip drama makes things worse. Not really, it either happens or not. Unbranded adapters all fail at 1 TB dd if=/dev/zero for 3-4 hours. When it happens — dd as well as dmesg will let you know.

You *can* get an approximation of the overhead introduced by the DATA adapter, but precise numbers would require applying real computer science.

My lights:

- rovyvon: a8 -- no need to lock as uses double tap to turn on

Fifine, look at their website, avoid the ones with gaymer rgb lighting to save money. You can buy a mic arm cheaper elsewhere.
Or look into the Audio-Technica ATR2100x-USB but make sure the gain is actually high enough when using the usb output
Also just use one of those foam pop shields that slides over the mic, don't get one of those mesh pop shields on a bendy arm they are annoying
>>

Add "Toocki" to cable section (not for charger). Also Essager should be for cable only too (charger might be a hit or miss).

Cable and charger should be separated in my opinion. Cable is easier to make and less complex.

Gan charger + cables
Baseus
Anker
Green

Cable only
Essager
Toocki

Never heard of rocoren so idk about that one.

You could also add "F12 Esports" to the keyboard section. I use one and it hasn't broken down and it has multi-layer mesh for sound dampen.

About 3-4 years. It's the cheaper F12 model on Amazon. I got it for $79 but it's now like $39. Hotswappable 5 pin etc. they have more expensive model too like their retro one. I might get that one in the future.

On Aliexpress, can sellers leave retaliatory feedback to the buyer after a dispute was found in the buyers favor, and the buyer can still leave feedback?
>>
>>100104331
>leather will start disintegrating sooner or later
that will happen on most things with "vegan"/fake leather, it doesn't matter if its chink or not. i use sony headphones and even on these the "leather" pads were not real leather and started disintegrating after 2 years or so. i've removed every bit of the pu coating shit and have been using them on the fabric for the past decade or so. they need washing sometimes.
i've weighted in on making some custom actual leather pads but it's too much work, and all the replacements are also fake leather.

No its not ebay, there is no buyer feedback at least that the sellers can see, AliExpress themselves might have some sort of buyer karma system but only they can see it.

>but I don't want the clack, what switch replacement should I look for?
Gateron G.pro 3 yellow
Or if you want em really quiet then gateron silent yellows but silent switches hit a rubber pad when they bottom out that is described as feeling mushy.

The best one in my opinion are the silent boba UT4 (come in linear & tactile) but they are kind of expensive if you want to replace every single key. It comes prelube so it's super smooth and you don't need to do the autistic lubing.

I'm not a gamer, but this looks small and cute.
Would I be able to play pokemon or other easy games on phone at work with this?

First of all, csg controllers can't install viruses over bluetooth, right?
Secondly, does it have enough buttons for games?
Thirdly, is it playing like this too attention grabbing?

Also I got a cat printer as it was the buzz few weeks ago.
It works with online printer, the quality of print is okay, but everything I print is at 50% of black - very light gray. I bought 3 rolls of "HD" paper, I hope it's not dangerous and it'll give better quality.

i'd say anything that can be played with a touchscreen also goes with that, only difference is that the buttons won't cover the screen so that's good
>First of all, csg controllers can't install viruses over bluetooth, right?
don't think so, there's a risk for those that have apps but i don't think they're ever required as the controller should just hook via bt
>Secondly, does it have enough buttons for games?
anything rpg of the 4 niggas in a row kind yes, or pokémon as you said. Sidescrolling platformers too
>Thirdly, is it playing like this too attention grabbing?
generally depends on how you hook it up to your phone, and in that specific case the leds there look like high faggotry. Also, it looks pretty small and personally i'd feel weird to use it in that sense cause i'd have to claw my hands over it so it would be both uncomfortable and likely look silly. They're much more expensive but i'd look into those switch style side controllers things if you want to use it for your phone, as they'll likely look more natural and also fit hands better

There is the GameSir T4 Pro that is the size of a normal controller, but it comes with a phone case holder you attach to it.
It battery lasts about 16-18 hours. You can turn off every LED and vibration on it via controller commands.
Though if you want a small one that one looks like it'll play all GBA/DS games no problem.

I've been using the JLab GO Air Pop wireless buds for a few months now and they're great. There's a built in USB cable in the battery bank so charging is really convenient. They do stick out of my ears a bit, though. Bought them for like $20 and they've survived dozens of drops.

I'm not much of a gamer, just desperately looking for something to do during the 20minutes of down time scattered during the day. I'm too tired to study all the time, besides my work itself is teaching me way more than I could just by doing books/tutorials.

>>100114903
Too vague. Depends on what you're trying to use them for and what the design is like.

Your best bet is looking for an in-depth review of whatever you're interested in. Though I feel like things are a bit better these days because protection chips are super cheap.
>>
>>100114903
See >>99940974 for my thoughts on them.
Basically all the cells are wired in parallel, which isn't ideal and if you get good 18650 cells you come out to about the same price as a premade powerbank, except the premade one will have better stats overall.
Can make for a nice Powerbank though if you already have cells or are willing to salvage some.
