Could someone help me with generating an image of a school girl sitting on top of a school desk with her feet resting on a chair?(This is what I mean https://files.catbox.moe/rn1c04.jpg)No matter how I try to prompt it her feet are nowhere near a chair, even dalle3 cannot follow this simple prompt, it's driving me crazy.
>>100174822Use controlnet
>>100174254It's cool but my personal opinion (which many do disagree with and that's okay) is that heavily specialized models ruin some part of what makes ai image gen fun. For me prompting has always been the most fun part and now it's becoming less and less relevant, at least for 1.5 models, not sure about XL as I haven't tried it.>>100174256There are sadly some technical limitations, but there are always some things left to explore. Even with just prompting and the same old models I continue to find ways to make new or better stuff.>>100174272I think anons gen girls because they are nice to look at and the ai is good at making them. I think it's only natural.>>100174624For me personally most of the advancements didn't mean all that much. I also at some point had that feeling of "everything is just around the corner" which I had kind of lost when I became aware of the various ai gen limitations. I just wish there were an ai that would run locally on my shit hardware that will be able to make a meaningful scene of any complexity out of just a prompt.>>100174671That is why I stick to one model and just keep trying to write better prompts for it. It is literally impossible to download and evaluate everything that is available.

>>100174966>For me prompting has always been the most fun part and now it's becoming less and less relevant, at least for 1.5 models, not sure about XL as I haven't tried it.I have replaced this with spaghetti autism. The 1.5 models have some pretty clear aesthetic and comprehension limitations, so how can I chain together model switches and controlnets and segmentation masks and ipadapters to make the kind of image I have in my head, which can't be genned natively out of a prompt? Granted, I'm still an anime coomer, so all my gens are pretty 1girls and all that chaining together is just making them cuter, so for some people I'm just wasting the tech. But it's fun to see, and that's what keeps me going for now, at least until we get a Pony equivalent for SD3.>I also at some point had that feeling of "everything is just around the corner" which I had kind of lost when I became aware of the various ai gen limitations.I think those two are related. Every tech advancement is a limitation removed. I've used the same vramlet laptop since the NAI leak: initially, I had to bump resolution down to 512*320 sometimes if I wanted to do anything in landacape other than a basic prompt, but now high resolutions are easy. With fp16 controlnet models, I can now combine a bunch and schedule them however, etc.We have hit a sort of wall without better prompt comprehension and one-shot character creation, though. Once you can make personalized comics and other media, things with persistent "narratives" rather than a series of one-offs, this will blow up again. The question is when do we get that tech, and how hard is it to run? Will it be a new model like SD3, will someone figure out yet another controlnet/ipadapter type noise control that can do this for 1.5, hard to say. But the lull is not permanent (baring worldwide economic collapse, which is on the table but if that happens we have bigger problems than 1girl quality.)

The only caveat (if you follow all the instructions proper) is that every time you update your ZLUDA files, you gotta sit through another 15-20 minute dry run of a generation but it'll be all downhill from there.Take it or leave it, but it's there if for your consideration.

How can I take frames from a video and give them a Ghibli makeover, has this tech been made yet? I know it would probably take a shit ton of time, but it seems easy enough no? Extract all frames from a movie, convert them with SD one by one, just enough so it doesn't change a whole lot, and then repackage frames with ffmpeg or something.
>>100175106>We have hit a sort of wall without better prompt comprehension and one-shot character creation, though.Yeah that is my biggest problem with SD right now. It's just too hard to generate your own scenarios with original characters interacting and getting everything at least more or less consistent. So I just fallback to 1girls, which is sad.To be honest, I've been kind of out of the loop recently. Is there any chance that SD3 will somehow address any of these problems?

The API has some weird "it's SD3 but not quite" going on etc. Fundamentally, I think the way this gets "solved" is when we have a 3D modeling program that generates very rough point cloud 3D models from a basic prompt that get fed into depth controlnets with a more elaborate prompt for the final gen.

>>100177183It took until this post for me to realize why you don't actually fit in. You aren't, fundamentally, an anon. You have normalfag social dynamics in your head, which makes you hesitant to disagree with "power." This is because you do not understand that there is no social power here. When say Ani or Comfy put on their shill hats and cover for Stability, nobody is like "oh wow, I can't disagree, so censorship must be good!". Except you: you do genuinely feel that kind of normalfag social pressure. Because, again, you are not actually an anon.

>>100177330That's great. In the decades since the establishment of *chan type boards, the culture has become self-reinforcing, such that the basic meritocracy of "assess by quality not by identity" has become standard operating procedure. He was talking about establishing a new culture that was not subject to the enforced groupthink of contemporary BBS/forums: you are trying to apply that to a completely different situation, because you are not an anon.

>>100177384>If there is a user ID attached to a user, a discussion tends to become a criticizing game. On the other hand, under the anonymous system, even though your opinion/information is criticized, you don't know with whom to be upset. Also with a user ID, those who participate in the site for a long time tend to have authority, and it becomes difficult for a user to disagree with them. Under a perfectly anonymous system, you can say, "it's boring," if it is actually boring. All information is treated equally; only an accurate argument will work.I'm probably misunderstanding what you're saying, but it sounds like you're argument is "its actually good that we have notable posters ITT"

>>100177575>he has to upscale the latents (and not a output image)well you can do either. some would say regular image upscale is easier to grapple for newfriends than latent upscale. regardless there are examples in the repo.
>>100177564>I need evidenceIs /sdg/ the only general you've visited?
>>100177437If you were posting on forums and BBSes when *chan style boards started to get big, you know exactly the kind of culture he was talking about, and why they'd be so incompatible with anonymous posting. Anonymous posting was an engineering solution to a cultural problem. But now, we have a different culture, one that explicity rejects the ideas that were so fumdamental to the forum/BBS era that caused the problem in the first place. If we were in 2003, and Comfy posted something like "stop relying on things like 1.5 when you can get hype for SD3," then yes, there would be an expectation for everyone to defer to that. There would be social pressure. That kind of social pressure no longer exists on 4chan: when Comfy posts that, people feel free to say "no, loras" or "no, freedom from safety" or even "no, because I don't want to." And people do, and the conversation does or does not happen. But for people who are still mental normalfags, they DO feel pressure to conform: not from other people enforcing such pressures, but because they themselves are conformists. You can disagree with a "known" poster just fine around here. Or, rather, other people can, while there are some troublesome individuals who dedicate entire threads to seething because they recognize a fennec ear or a purple hat. Because they're just normalfags.

>>100177701>but it feels like you're saying it's good that we have recognizable postersCloser to >>100177466. It really does not matter. If you treat a "notable poster" any differently from another anon, that is an internal problem that you have, given the overall 4chan culture of "say what you mean and mean what you say, or shitpost fuck whatever." If you see a gen you recognize, and that sets you off into an angry spiral, those are your own brainworms. >>100178063Nah, now you're trying to move the goalposts. You've gone from "there is social pressure to agree with notable posters" to "when I disagree, sometimes I feel like I have to back myself up with an image." Okay, but 1) that is a different problem, and 2) you do not actually have to do that, given you will not lose social standing for not doing it, because there is no social standing to lose. Again, you are allowing your own internal brainworms that go crazy whenever you are aware that someone else in particular exists, and you are confusing those brainworms with chan culture.A great way of not being accused of being a nogen when not posting a gen is to act like you have the slightest interest in imagegen rather than just stirring up shit.

When I say "you are fundamentally not an anon," I mean exactly that. Because "someone expressed discontent with me, so how can I possibly disagree" is the kind of mentality that can only exist within a highly curated highly moderated highly socially conformist setting: the exact thing you are rallying against! You not only need other people to act the way you want them to act, you need other people to talk to you the way you want them to talk to you, even in the complete absence of real social pressure tied to long-term names! You are just a mental normalfag. You do not belong anywhere where someone can insult you, because you take insults too sensitively. Was PW the cause of all of this?
>>100178777something is wrong. it takes 2 seconds to load a new lora and I'm using a refurbished HDD that sounds like a microwave filled with spoons.

>>100179208I use forge but afaik comfy is the worst at everything. the only benefit is "total control" which is a huge negative for 99% of users. it wont even let you use all of your vram lol
>>100179260What a fool I was to believe in it… Guess it's time to google this 'forge' thing.
>>100179298it's a dead auto1111 fork. it's in the OP. it handles memory better than original auto.
>>100179298Forge stopped being updated some time ago. It might not be worth investing into it for the long run.
