You can't use a person's likeness, either their image or voice, if you generate them from AI.

China is cracking down on AI, which is the next frontier for advanced technology.

They will never be a world leader like this.

This is illegal in just about every western country as well. Does that mean the US, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia are collapsing too? I would like to see the example he's referring to for games making use of AI voices. The only high profile examples I can think of that have done this legally didn't use AI to impersonate actual people and didn't try to copy any specific person's voice without their permission.

Guess his bastion of technological prowess are countries like Niger and Somali?
