Every thing that needs an email is basically transient to me, and has been for at least a decade. (I also absolutely refuse to give a real number when signing up for things.) I'm guessing because nobody actually looks at that shit directly anymore.Its also nice that in the case of a compromise, since I use an alias for every service, its much more likely I'll know whodunnit. Most providers use + for an alias, which are always stripped out in a dump, but cock uses a dot. Still can be stripped, but much less likely to be.
