I have a theory that they don't implement this feature because they don't want people to find information that easily. Why? Well, if was easy to find information, many people would quickly search things and mass report it content they want gone.

Believable theory. I think there's a lot more on there than people realize. But in a few hundred years maybe people will realize how valuable it is as an archive of the 2000s, instead of trying to filter out all their embarrassing tweets
