>>101206908>GTKancerUse kubuntu or btfo
the linux community is one of the most autistic ones out there. ubuntu is a fine choice, you likely wont need more
>>101206908Most of the community is fine. This isn't a community. This is a dumpster full of sewage.

If you don't have issues with Ubuntu then that's fine Linux is about freedom and choice. Personally though I prefer Linux Mint which is based on it but less bloated and has some of it's own things it develops such as Timeshift.

>>101206908It's not a COMMUNITY, faggot.I'm not your kindly old NEIGHBOR LADY.None of us is the BAKER ON THE CORNER, or MR BENSON in NR 5 with the IMMACULATE HEDGE and HOT WIFE. We don't MOW EACH OTHERS LAWNS or GOSSIP IN THE STREET.We just both use Linux and live completely separate lives. Imagine thinking we're friends or associates or equals because of our choice in OS.Fuck right off, you pederast!

>>101209263I don't what's best. It all depends on what works and doesn't require me to tweak low level shit.
>>101208789>Less bloatedDefine it and measure it
>>101206908>using THE linux distro is le bad
>>101209388Look at the iso sizes for one thing. Mint is 2.9gbhttps://www.linuxmint.com/edition.php?id=311Ubuntu is 6gb https://ubuntu.com/download/desktop
>>101209733Seems like a lot of it is just drivers. Does mint have less compatibility?ISO size isn't a good measure of bloat (which you still haven't defined). Install size, performance, programs and features that aren't used or poorly maintained, that's what I'd consider bloat
