So much e-waste. The panels are often great, but are crippled by proprietary underpowered Android trash that is not only stagnant and increasingly full of ads, but also tied deeply into basic adjustments and inputs. Commercial LED TVs offer a simpler design, but trade visibility/durability for picture quality, often with a markup.We still can't fully root Bravia TVs, and there isn't a drop-in open source LVDS driver board for them. What do?
