I prefer dark mode but some sites have zero clue what a proper dark theme is. The colors should be soothing and relaxing to the eye, not just black and white. That kills my eyes much worse than any light theme.

The room where I mostly sit is very bright, so during the day I have trouble reading with dark mode even at 100% brightness. So for me it´s light during the day and dark at night.
