Is there really no way to use an xbox controller's 3.5mm jack on gnu/linux? Buying a longer cord would just be an admission of defeat.

Hearing sound while playing a game?
>but muh Bluetooth
It's a controller so you're probably using it to play a game. I games, typically you want to hear footsteps as a warning before you get shot, not after you're dead.
>but muh wire
Less wires is more convenient. That's why the jack is on the controller in the first place.
Faggot.
