https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJiOv2sLVxYLinux bros what do we make of this? Most of the computing is done offline. It looks like the Ubuntu search leaks more data than the Mac search.
>Ubuntuyou're the same
Of course macOS is safer and more private. A huge part of Apple's marketing is around privacy especially with their Apple Intelligence coming out soon. They're not going to risk bad press and take a hit to their stock. With Microsoft you expect to be spied on. Linux is more private by design but most people will use the mainstream distros which in an ironic twist will be less private by default.UNIX and UNIX-like systems should live in harmony and agree that Windows is gay.

>>101224361Apple's privacy thing is a big time myth. Why? Because iPhones BY DEFAULT upload all your data like messages/photos to the cloud UNENCRYPTED. So whatever happens on your iPhone does not stay on your iPhone. Apple was at one point going to enrypt your data but they bowed down to the glowies.

Remember when mac exposed admin passwords in plaintext?Or when they save the encryption password for disks on plaintext? And you could extract it with no external tools whatsoever? And the ssl bypass with a double goto?Or the unpatcheable hardware backdoor that bypass every security restrictions apple claims to have that was used by hackers for more than 4 years?Yeah you would be a retarded moron trusting their marketing lies.
