Is hard work more important than talent in the IT sector?
>>
>>101229631
if by hard work you mean lying and cheating, yes
>>
>>101229631
It's more important to speak Hindi or Telugu.
>>
>>101229631
The best programmers are the laziest. They'll automate what needs to be done rather than work hard. But all that matters now is nepotism. Meritocracy is stone dead. Those with money saw they wouldn't stay on top in such a world.
>>
>>101229789
It's even more important to be attractive, and more important than that to know someone
>>
>>101229789
>hindi
nobody speaks hindi in india. they use english instead.
unless something changed drastically in the past 15 years i havent been there
>>
>>101229631
the most important thing is being charismatic and convincing
>>
>>101229631
neither of them are as important as social skills and connections. I can bypass HR and the traditional application process at any fortune 500 company via nepotism.
>>
>>101229901
This. If you're submitting your resume to the big job boards, you've lost before you even started.
>>
no. 1 still personality
>>
>>101229851
then how come there's so many tutorials in hindi
>>
>>101229631
>IT sector
Anon, have you ever heard how Filipinos have taken over like 80% of ship staffing jobs over the world?
Now let me talk to you about jeets and IT...
By the end of the decade, IT will be a barren wasteland. jeet-o-land with poo in every line of code. it's over.
>>
>>101229792
>NOOOOO!!!! having friends that will help select you for a position is LE WRONGGGG. Asocial incels who don't talk to anyone should be the ones to be rewarded!!!!
fuck off, faggot. while you were watching anime I was networking and going to happy hours with the boys.
>>
>>101230295
Networking? You mean getting shitfaced. It that the stated objective of where you work?
>>
>>101230295
post hand, ramesh
>>
>>101230295
>Asocial incels who spent their time actually learning their shit are the ones who would be able to deliver technical advancements to us because they actually know what they're doing
ftfy yw
>>
>>101230184
how many are in hindi
and how many are in english?
>>
>>101229851
Fine. The OP needs to be the appropriate caste or family.
>>
>>101230036
Kek
OP, the jobs are gone. You'll have to take whatever bullshit is thrown at you.
>>
>>101230538
No. You'll have to cry about your total loss of power and influence you brought down on yourself.
>>
>>101230322
>It that the stated objective of where you work?
the stated objective of where I work is to make shit work. turns out that no single code monkey is unreplaceable. my job is to crack the whip at those who need whipping and rewarding those who can make shit work for my bosses. drinking with the boys is just a tool.
>>
>>101230710
With that attitude none of your assigned shit will work. I'll be watching you get eviscerated at the inquiry on youtube.

>>
>>101229851
good morning sir have you done the needful today?
>>
>>101230710
>crack the whip
you wish you were white so bad
>>
>>101231959
not indian tho
but i spent 2 months in the south when i was younger

i liked it. never saw anyone shit in the street (they must have designated ones for that)
i did step into cowshit with a bare foot tho.
and thres trash everywhere. fucking plastic bags floating in their trash tinged rivers.

stepping in cowshit is not that bad. it was dried and all.
but fucking hell, if you fall into one of their rivers
you will die of sepsis within the day
>>
>>101229631
No. You do need hard work, but boy are there people who just don’t get it and never will.
>>
>>101229631
if you are actually trying to build shit, then hard work is absolutely mandatory. it does not matter how smart you are when you have to actually build something. code HAS to get written. thoughts HAVE to be recorded. typographical demonstrations must be set. imagery must be drawn.
intelligence expedites the efficiency of your work, but work will ALWAYS exist. work is the output of energy. energy MUST be spent.

>>
>>101229851
Can confirm. Pajeets can't speak each other's moronic dialect so they just default to English. All the records and paperwork I've seen are English as well.
>>
>>101229631
nobody is "talented" for tech.

Nepotism matters more than anything else.
If you have good friends in the industry you will never be out of a job.
>>
>>101229631
i'm not convinced either is particularly important

It's actually about who you know and your political ideology.
>>
important to avoid time-traps, maybe more talented knows where to stop/diverge
>>
>>101229631
No, they just need you to do the bare minimum at the timeframe they asked you.
>>
>>101229631
Nepotism is the most important.
Hard work (work ethic) helps you survive layoffs
Being talented is a supplement that gets you to be a subject matter expert. It provides job security, but this only matters if you're hard working. Otherwise, when times get tough you're out anyway if you aren't reliable.
Also if you're able to get in via nepotism, you're hard working to survive layoffs and talented to be a subject matter expert, you best be assertive to negotiate good pay or you'll be taken advantage of.
>>
>>101229631
You need both. You can work harder than anyone else, but if what you're doing is painting rocks outside, nobody is going to give a single shit about you. If you have the talent, but don't work hard at all, they're going to fire you pretty quickly.
>>
>>101229631
>Is hard work more important than talent
No, you dumb visajeet.
>>
>>101229631
It's the same literally everywhere in life:
If you want things to work well? Yes.
If you just want money/fame/anything other than proper function? No.
>>
>>101229631
'Important' for what? for whom?
Your brain must be a mess if you genuinely think your question made any sense.
>>
Neither of those are important yoir network is.
