So basically as it was explained to me a bunch of rich people are banking on it so broken thrown together versions of it are going to be forcibly inserted into everything you interact with until your conditioned to accept it so build the product fix it later and wait for the market to sort of create itself because you have so much money to shove it down everyone's throat kind of like paying for streaming when you can still just pirate everything but I can shove more content at you faster than you can ever pirate.

Generative AI isn't intelligent at all and so is incredibly unreliable. Bold claims of "ChatGPT passes bar exam" gave people the impression that the AI is smart. The reality is that a test like the Bar exam, that's just regurgitating known and defined facts, is one of the few kinds of tests that an LLM can reliably solve.AI is obviously powerful shit and machine learning has been incredibly successful and useful, but GPT and other LLMs that are getting billions of dollars shoved up their asses are not the path to having real, superhuman intelligence.
