It enables me instead of disabling me, I don't have to tinker. This is the power of having tailor-made software and hardware working in sweet symphony -- the Mac Studio has been PURPOSEFULLY ENGINEERED to be the way it is, nothing more, nothing less. This is the crucial collection of facts which does not show up on benchmarks. There is no non-Mac PC that can do the same. On paper, it looks worse than non-Macs, in the real world, it's not even close. Mac wins. Every. Time.

I fucking hate what this thick mac mini represents. This shite allowed them to kill the mac pro, which by the early 2012's represented such a dramatically different ethos at Apple, that they are hardly the same company anymore. A product that offered its users nearly unparalleled modularity and upgradability, that one can easily still use it today and is still easily serviceable. Now Tim Jewpple locks down everything such that you are stuck with your CPU and RAM, a proprietary ssd with not enough space to put in a regular one + an adapter. This piece of shit was designed to be binned in a few years instead of you being able to upgrade or replace parts as needed so you can buy the next shiny toy Tim makes. And for the $2000+++ you pay, that is a fucking insult. If you buy this dogshit, you are whats wrong with tech in 2024
