Honestly Windows just kept getting worse after Windows 2000. But I guess you can only use antique software and hardware with it.

back in 2016 I had a Windows 2000k virtual box with extended kernel and it could watch youtube videos using a special mode that caused youtube to use flash. I used it from 2016-2017 until flash was removed entirely...
that machine did not work with html5 at all.

good memories. In early 2024 i got a WIndows 2000 off archive.org with extended kernel and got it to play html5 videos. Though I lost interest quick

The 2016 windows 2000 used Firefox 37 as after that it could update but problems happened with browsing. I think it was screen tearing.

The 2024 Windows 2000 I got rid of in a very short period of time used MyPal. I also got Adobe Photoshop CS3 to run on it.
