What do /g/entoomen think about acme, is it as based as it looks? I'm an emacs user but I'm kind of tired of the large amount of packages and having to tinker with my config.

I think it's really interesting. Never used it myself though, I've only watched Russ Cox's demonstration.
i'm a keyboarder myself but i think it's a great example of proper interface research and design

you might also like oberon, a research desktop OS from the 90s that uses the acme concept for the entire shell
