On Ublock Origin put the following line in the "My Filters" section

stackoverflow shows this as soon as you visit the site. blocking you from scrolling using the arrows as soon as you enter the site. you can press escape to close it, but many times I'm just left confused for 5-10 seconds - is my keyboard battery dead, did my computer freeze, what happened exactly - long enough to break whatever flow you have
