The guy who set it up left, all the documentation was deleted, and he never wrote down the password needed to modify the gui or access sensors/controls. They ignore the panel now since the only way to get back in is to factory reset it and lose everything. The IT guy they have doesn't touch anything other than office equipment, when they told him to "just change the password" he asked why they let the guy who programmed it put everything needed to interface with it on his personal computer. The boomer who sent him (the guy who set everything up) to instrumentation specialists for training never mentioned anything to the IT guy about the panel, and never asked the trainee to leave a copy of the training materials or his panel "firmware" on his office desktop. The panel is using python to do everything, but only the trainee was the only guy taught to use it, even the vendor said they couldn't do anything to extract what was loaded into the panel.
