Though they don't really go for a lot on eBay, so you may as well go that route ... basically you can pay $25 and get one off eBay now, or hit thrifts every week for a year and maybe you'll find one for $7.Part of using slide rules is eyeballing the distance between the marks. So while 6" ones are neat, typical foot long ones will allow more accuracy. Then again, you're probably just getting one for weekend amusement and not sending men to the moon.
