>runs even your R5 3600 at 65c during light multitasking and web browsingI hate this little nigger like you wouldn't believe
>>101544583gee maybe you should buy a new fuckin heatsink instead of bitching about it on a mongolian basket weaving forum
>>101544583What's the use case for better cooler if you aren't doing anything but that?
>>10154458365C is fine though
>>101544642Although I know temperature isn't a metric. My cooler along with this discussion is getting quite heated.
>>101544656Until you actually put any load onto it and it runs at 90c+
>>101544676well then get a a better cooleror turn off boosting/turbo, which is just "more voltage and speed until the thermal limits get hit" auto-overclocking.
>>101544656>t. intel usermine runs at 65 when under full load. i think its the thermal equilibriumi use picrel and i remove sidepanels
>>101544583have you tried applying thermal paste?
I don't know what to do with my life anymore, someone already shot a president recently so it feels like there's nothing fun to achieve.OP, suck some dicks and buy a better PC.
>>101544583Load up ryzen master and reduce peak voltage
i bet you liked installation of wraith stealth, wait where is it, jiggle & press a little and finally push locking pins in, did you remember thermal paste
>>101544583nothing wrong with 65cnothing wrong even if it idled at 90c
Buy a big cooler and stop bitching
That cooler is perfectly capable of keeping a 3600 below 40C during light multitasking and web browsing. You're doing something wrong.
Why mongoloids in 4chinks are so opposed of buying a real cpu cooler? A top tier one can be bought for like $35. Is it the zooms and their infamous tech illiteracy?
>>101544663>temperature isn't a metricsymmetry, positivity, triangle inequality, zero self-distance are all satisfied for temperature
>>101544583Didn't the 3600 come with a Wraith Prism or Spire? I swapped it out for a Hyper 212 Turbo on my 3700X and stuck it into my A10-5800K system instead.
>>101548670No, 3700X is the lowest tier of Zen 2 that came with a Prism.
>>101548487their parents don't let them replace the cooler>>101548670stealth.
>>101548487Yep. I bought some chinkshit DeepCool 120mm, replaced the 120mm with one form the 5-pack Arctic P12 I got. Also get a price-performance thermal paste. I used MX-4.Also the temperature doesn't have to go as low as possible. It's totally fine to keep the CPU at let's say 70C if it means keeping the fans down. Only after it goes above 80C do I start to ramp up the fan.
>>101544583It's 38c right now and my 2600 is running at 55-60c with stock cooler. I have pc on the floor and havent cleaned it in a year. You are doing something wrong.
>>101544583>Doesn't throttle a 5600x and runs quietI love this little nigger that you wouldn't believe
>>101544583Disgusting poorfag
>>101544583Works on my machine.
>>101544583Just buy the Arctic Freezer 36 for 20 bucks. It can even cool a 5900x or any of the 120 Thermalright coolers.
Undervolted and underclocked (just -200mhz) my 5600 with default cooler and it doesn't exceed 65°C in summer
>>101544583I remember my 1600 came with the Spire with a vapor chamber. That shit ran at maybe 75c running p95 small fft. Gave it to a friend who has a 3600.Got myself a tray 3600 and an Arctic A35.
>>101544583Works on my machineWay quieter than the old Intel fan I had before too
>>101544583What's the fucking purpose of that nigger notch? I had to reinstall this cooler because the notch was blocking the RAM slot. Already happened to me multiple times at work.
>>101551423Install it facing the other way?
>>101544583doesn't the r5 3600 run really hot anyway?
>>101545038Shot but didn't kill Be the change you want to see
>>101544583when I went to zen 3 and a real heatsink my temps dropped by 50c
>>101544583>stock intel cooler>idle at 65>max at 65 with a deafening turbine screami win
>>101553165>doesn't the r5 3600 run really hot anyway? No. Stock cooler (pic related) after running X4 Foundations a heavy CPU limited simulation game.
>>101544642stay in your containment threads, "no use case" guy.

>>101544583PA120, stop being so poor
>>101544583>>101553488What's the best way to stress-test my CPU?
>>101553488fix your ram what the fuckmy ddr3 is faster than that lol
>wraith "stealth">is by definition, less stealth, because of its need to run at a higher, louder rpm due to the small heatsink

>>101554360even laptops have 3200my pc is 4000

>>101555362That's some nice ram 3600cl16 is fancy stuff in my opinion
>>101555414They were more bargain ram AFAIK. It's two sticks of SpecTek (Micron) and 2 sticks of SK Hynix. G.skill branded I bought in 2018/19. It was relatively cheap. No RGB.
>>101555539I assure you that's better than everything but bdie
>>101555586Thanks! The whole thing runs fairly well after six years. My 2500k and 4690k 4770 6700 all felt sluggish after 3-4 years. The memory likely aided in that.
>>101555710Maybe it's the mitigations that intel sent out to make people buy new hardware
>>101555748I long retired those systems by the time those patches came to fruition. My guess is software and slower memory. The core meme perhaps as well. All of that slowly caught up over time. Windows also got more bloated as usual since most of that hardware was geared towards WinXP/7/8. Looking at default typical installs of 10 and 11 compared to those now.
