All DOS games were running smoothly, including Assembly coded emulators like the zsnes that ran complex games on a pentium with 4mb of ram. WinXP was good only for DirectX games.

Quite frankly, I used and enjoyed Windows 95 a lot as an home OS, but I find no use for WinXP and successors, since from a purely technical perspective Linux is a much superior professional operating system
