It's very rare for them to come with original ideas.Apple has evolved but almost always was a design first engineering company bundling hardware with software, it's a product as a service company brand as a lifestyle. Microsoft is a software as a service company, focused first on business.When Microsoft enters a market, it's always because they fear to lost some power on their technology on the long run (Cloud computing, phone OS, DirectX with XBox, Computer Vision or AI). They don't much create that survive with their initial monopoly, it's purely big business shenanigan (like most of this company, granted) while Apple has a more "PR / Marketing" approach to it, and still have to deliver top notch product to not lose their edges.Yes, I think poorly of Microsoft. Apart from their computer hardware (keyboard, mouse) market I think most of their products sucks.
