Install f40
Install KDE
Works..

Install nvidia driver from nvidia
KDE no longer in de selector of gdm
Try replacing by sddm
Doesn't even start.

K. Back to Ubuntu. Fortunately it was just a trash partition

You don't "install KDE", you use the KDE spin, which I don't think even uses gdm.

You also don't install the Nvidia driver from Nvidia (unless you mean CUDA repo, but you're probably talking about the runfile lmao), you use RPMfusion.

Fortunately, it is just you who is trash.

This does NOT come with Fedora nor does it have any affiliation with the Fedora project. You are merely complaining about some random software you must explicitly install yourself. Complain to the devs of that software rather than shitting on a completely separate project.
