I also want to make my own programming language from scratch and im willing to learn any math and logic i need to code my own language both compiled and interpreted but based in spanish instead of englishI also want to know how to build my own kernel, bootloader, and look into all elements of a PC and the history of IT. I wanna make a spanish alternative to windows. From scratch. I dont mind how long it takes for me to make it, I’m willing to dedicate my entire life to this. You joke but writing a compiler can be done alone.
>>101563597I made a scripting language of my own, but it's not coded very well and has comparable performance to Python 3.11, despite being simpler. So all I can say here is that ideally, you should make a scripting language for your OS, which is interpreted and preferably dynamically-typed. If you don't feel like making two separate languages to utilize in your OS, you can do something similar to what Terry Davis did with HolyC, since he wrote everything using it in Temple, even scripts.More on HolyC: https://holyc-lang.com/
https://craftinginterpreters.com/ might be a good place to play around with scripting languages
