It’s a non smart tv and allegedly has a 120hz panel but none of the HDMI ports can handle that nor do I see an option in the menus. Also has component and a VGA port

LG is a washing machine brand too but they make some very nice OLED TVs.

Now OP just don't go "buying" digital copies. Get some nice Blu-rays to play on it.

Every tv that advertises 120hz is the panel refresh rate and helps when you playback 24fps content on it, cuz it duplicate frames evenly.
Having said that, you can't actually push 120fps on it because it cannot process it, just the good 'ol 60hz.
Learn to tv advertisements.

bought it for my parents on clearence for 350$ a couple of years ago. they bought a new one so i may hang on to the kenmore, its aged better than a shitty samsung smart tv i bought at the same time, all the smart shit no longer works or runs too slow. think it was LG that made the kenmore tvs

I have a 65" Samsung 4K Crystal LED. My only complaint about it is the OS on it is slow as fuck. Not sure how to correct it either but it's a bitch switching inputs because my BD player doesn't do it automatically and it takes literally 3 minutes to do anything.
